[Resolved] Rao Holiday Membership — False Commitments | |||||
I have enrolled for membership with Rao holidays through their executive who contacted me for the same. I paid a total amount of 57000/- towards the membership fees. The company executive sent me hotels list which will be eligible for the members. Accordingly, after confirmation several times with executive, I made payment for the total amount through QR code sent to me by the executive. Next day I received welcome mail with membership id from the booking desk. Thereafter I mailed the booking desk & informed about my booking details as discussed earlier with the executive. But now the booking desk denies the list of hotels as sent by the executive, saying that membership is not eligible for the hotels as mentioned in the list. So I asked them to communicate with the company executive and verify the same. But they were reluctant to do the same. Moreover, when I demanded my money back, because they cannot fulfill their own commitments, they are neither willing to do the same. Further when I said that I will have to take legal action for the deficiency in service created on their part, they are list bothered for the same. It was as if they were accustomed with all such fraudulent situations and ready to face the consequences. Dec 16, 2023 Complaint marked as Resolved Basically the executives of the company did not clear the list of hotels at the time of booking.
Hence their was misunderstanding regarding the same. But now the company is ready to resolve the matter, but wants me to take back the complaint registered on the forum. Only after the same they will go ahead as decided. I have requested you to delete the complaint from the forum several times, because I am not getting any service from the company till the deletion of the complaint.

This would be 100% true because there is one more company with the same fraud scheme exact the same way to take money from people

I asked for hotel booking, they have given me an option of dirty hotel, which is available at 1300 in Make my trip. May be the hotel worth rs.700 per night.
Rao holidays charged around Rs.5000 per night in advance, and now suggesting 3rd rated hotels.

This is true. The same thing has happened with me and I do have all the communication available with myself.
Request you to kindly take immediate and strict action as they can mislead many consumers
