Please note that i applied for RBL credit card and got reference no : [protected]. I got all verification done at my office and home. I got multiple calls at office and mobile number too for verification. Today got a SMS and email stating Dear Customer, your credit card application has not been approved as it did not meet the policy requirements of RBL Bank. I am not the one asking for card, RBL called me several time for a pre-approved credit card and i never went to rbl for the same. Executive called and i have given all papers and verification also done positively. I mailed customer care and they are not giving any correct reason for rejection. As per rbi guidelines circular no - rbi/[protected]/100 bod. Fsd. Bc.23/24.01.011/2008-09 dated[protected]. RBL bank should give me a reason in writing or else i will also file complaint in RBI and banking ombudsman. I want reason for rejection as it has hit my cibil. My cibil was all clear with a score of 798 and i have other credit cards of big banks like ICICI, HDFC, AMEX, KOTAK, CITIBANK and SCB. If i will not find reason for rejection, i will file case in consumer court. It is my dignity which got effected and i have made up my mind for filing legal case against RBL.
