RBL Bank — Credit card mis-commitment, charged Rs[protected] + 360 GST) after commitment that card has been converted to zero balance. | |
On January 9, 2021 my annual charges were reversed and commitment was made that no annual charges will be levied on this card further when I applied for closures of this card as I was not satisfied with the poor reward point system and huge annual charges with no benefit. I cleared all the dues before closing the credit card. Below is the email message sent to me on January 9, 2021. (We have processed your Request [Ref. No.24679796] regarding Reversal of Bank Charges on your RBL Bank Credit.) In spite of the commitment made by the executive from RBL bank they again sent me a statement (February 22, 2021) which shows fees and charges of Rs 2159 and another Rs 360 GST. I only agreed to continue with RBL bank because the executive was adamant that I continue with this card and he will convert this card to zero balance card and further I don’t have to pay any annual charges, but when I continued the card, they sent me statement on February 22, 2021 that charges of Rs 2159 plus GST 360, which equals to Rs 2510. I am extremely disappointed about this kind of mis-commitment and cheating by RBL bank executive and again applying for closure of the RBL credit card. The reference number for my credit card closure is 26795612. Earlier I was disappointed about the services, huge annual charges, and poor reward system.
