RBL Bank — Mental harassment from banks third party | |
I just wanted to log a complain regarding RBL bank’s recovery process. My husband’s cousin Mr. Sourav Kumar Rai took credit card from RBL. We were unaware that he has given my and my husband’s contact number and address as reference because we have not got any call or confirmation from bank side. This can be checked and confirmed from bank history and logs. He has become defaulter of bank since he didnot pay the credit outstanding bill. Now bank is sending third party continously to our home address (A380, sector-3, Greater Noida West, Uttar Pradesh) and they keep calling us and harassing mentally. They are talking in ill mannerless way. My question is why we are suffering? Did we lend money from bank? or did we sign anywhere or provided any confirmation? Bank has his hometown address and all the details then why these people are coming at our address when they didnot come at the time of verification?And on which basis RBL bank had provided the credit card to Sourav? We have not lended from bank then why we are facing these issues. Bank issues credit card to anyone without any verification because of their profit and later they start torturing the people who are not even aware about it. If in worst case someone who knows our number and address and he provides that details then anyone can do fraud because verification is poor from bank side. Please stop this harassment to innocent people. Put effort at right place. We are not the culprit. Was this information helpful? | |
