Hi i had, RBL Bajaj Credit card.
It was offered with lifetime free card 3 years before, but after some month, they send new card with annual fee charged, after knowing that i informed RBL that i don’t need any charged card service. then they reversed the payment and changed to free card.
Again second year, it was repeated, after having discussion, it was reversed again.
Now 3rd year, same issue, this time i was not noticed the annual fee, made my payment as there is EMI going on. when courier guy called for new card then i noticed that there was annual charge for new card, which i never wanted from RBL.
I had sent email to RBL to reverse the charges and update current principle to be paid to bank, so that i will clear all due and stop using their service, meanwhile i did not received their new card physically before coming for delivery and asked courier boy to return to RBL.
As already written email on 9 Dec 2021 to RBL to send final payment to clear all my dues, hence I stopped making my emi wanting them to send final settlement for used amount by myself deducting wrong charges for issuing new card, till now any confirmation from them, whereas i am getting daily 20 calls from RBL collection centre to pay my emi (last month statement), they don't know anything about my issue.
In this situation, pls guide me the way forward.
