A sum of Rs.1770/ has been debited to my account by RBL Bank without my permission in Aug. 2021. When It came to my notice I enquired from customer care toll free number ( Ref. No. SR [protected] and it was informed debit is towards the cost of the debit card issued to me against my above newly opened account. I informed that I had never opted for debit card with such high cost and I was assured the amount will be credited back to my account. Today again I loged into my account and shocked to see the amount has not been credited so far rather an additional amount has been debited due to non mainatainence of minimum balance. The balance dipped simply becuase o[censored]nauthorised debite made my the bank towards the cost of debit card.
Today again I spoke to customer care center on toll free number and was shocked to learnt that my grievance was already clsoed by the concern officeal with the remarks that amount once debited cant not be refunded back becuase I pointed out after 30 days of debit. They also did not give any reply when I asked to produce recording when you took my consent for debiting my account with Rs.1770/-. However, it was informed that I will be getting gift vouchers worth Rs.1500/- out of the total cost of debit card i.e. Rs.1770.
It is totaly unfare practive being followed by RBL. They have been indulged in unfarepractice to promote products of their associates at the cost of account holders by keeping them in dark.
An immediate investigation is warranted so as to get my money back and to stop this unfare practice. Was this information helpful? |
