[Resolved]  Redbus — Big Complaint

Dear Team,

I have been using redbus.in since people didn't know about it, but this time I have serious problems with the team.

My ticket TJBY74579437 journey Mumbai to Bangalore was never so horrific until I boarded this bus from your website on 5th November.

Let me brief you on the sequence of events on this terrible journey.

1.Boarding time was 6:30 PM (Sion) - No notification send from either the bus operator and redbus prior to the journey. On calling the bus driver the only answer was "araha hu sir yaha bahut traffic hai aur mai abhi borivali se nikla hu."

2.On calling the customer care they said the bus will be coming shortly and we have spoken to the bus operator and our supervisor will call you in 15 min, which never happened.

3.The best part was on calling the travel agency number mentioned in the sms, they replied " ye hamari bus nahi hai"

4.Finally after waiting for 3 hours at the boarding point at 9:30 PM the bus arrives at SION. The bus driver and cleaners shouting "chalo jaldi andar aao aur doosri baaten baad mey karna."

5.The bus finally reaches Pune around 1 AM and boarding the passengers even without informing them that the bus is late. Then right after we touched the highway the Bus breakdown at around 1:30 AM in middle of the highway.

6.All the bus staff gets down and try to fix the issues while the entire bus was smelling of fuel leakage inside (OMG) God saved our souls that day.

7.Finally the bus starts at around 4 AM in the morning. We finally reached Bangalore some 5 hours delay.

Now let me ask the team some serious questions?

1. Who is responsible for all the lives travelling in the bus forget about the service?
2. Who will compensate for the loss for not reaching the destination on time?
3. Is the common man so helpless to be at the mercy of the drivers to take them to the destination according to them?
4. Why does redbus enroll such bus operators?

Saying as sorry doesn't compensate for all the losses we have gone through. "Sorry doesn't make a dead man alive."

Moreover I asked the customer care to please cancel my ticket and refund me the amount so that I can book another bus or else please put me on another bus. The answers form the agents where so pathetic as if I have asked for their kidney. Is making money only the motive for the company keeping the the security of the passengers at stake.

I've also overhead the bus staff speaking that "yaar isi condition mey wapis se bus mumbai leke jana padega kyunki company isko repair mey daalegi toh bus cancel karna padega for next trip." Also the bus staff haven't slept overnight the previous night because they were running late a trip earlier.

Please give me proper answer and please don't tell me we are sorry for the inconvenience.
