I am writing to lodge a formal complaint against RedBus and its associated travel agency, Sangitam Travels, for fraudulent and irresponsible practices that caused me financial loss and mental distress.
On 6th December 2025, I booked a bus ticket through RedBus for Sangitum Travels from Pune to Amravati(MH), scheduled at 6:55 PM. I reached the designated boarding point on time, but the bus did not arrive.
I attempted to contact the driver multiple times, but his phone was switched off.
I checked the live bus location on the RedBus app, which incorrectly showed the bus as being 9 km ahead of my boarding point, indicating that the bus had already left without stopping.
Due to this misleading information and lack of communication, I was forced to book another bus at the last minute to reach my destination on time.
This incident not only caused financial loss but also significant mental stress. If the driver’s phone had been reachable or if RedBus’s tracking system had worked properly, I would not have faced this situation.
I strongly believe this reflects fraudulent activity and negligence by RedBus in collusion with the travel agency. I request immediate investigation and strict action against RedBus and Sangitum Travels. Additionally, I demand compensation for the financial and mental inconvenience caused.
Kindly acknowledge this complaint and provide a resolution at the earliest.
