Hi, i booked a ticket through the redbus portal, expecting fair service. Upon boarding, the conductor asked me to sit in a different seat than the one i had booked. When i requested assistance in securing my reserved seat, he initially claimed that someone was already sitting there. I questioned the purpose of offering seat selection during booking. Eventually, he approached the passenger, but there was no response. Now, the conductor insists that i must travel in the changed seat. I paid twice the general fare for my selected seat, so what is the point of the seat selection option? Please help resolve this issue.
