I normally book a ticket from redbus from thane to kankavli route. Most of the times I don't have to cancelnor reschedule my ticket but sometimes it needs to be and rebus was very flexible. On Sunday 26/10/25 I had booked a ticket and then my travel plan changed and requested for cancel of ticket on Monday ie one day in advance but I was told that the ticket is not cancellable. I tried to get in touch with customer care but got only automated reply on phone with no help. On the chat they have AI robots who respond and are not able to take decisions and have automated response. I could not get in touch with anybody who could help me.
I wanted a refund as nowhere it was mentioned before booking that these tickets are not refundable but redbus proudly displays on its front page on website to book tickets that can be rescheduled or cancelled without additional charge. If a ticket is not cancelable then they should prompt or mention clearly before booking and not give any surprises after booking.
