[Resolved]  Redbus — Not providing GST invoice for ticket bookings

I have booked a ticket in redbus mobile application on April 07, 2022. I have received a ticket.However, i have not received any GST invoice. I have reached out to customer care and followed up multiple times. Inspite of the same i have not received any invoice.

As per Section 31 (2) of CGST Act, 2017, A registered person supplying taxable services shall, before or after the provision of service but within a prescribed period, issue a tax invoice, showing the description, value, tax charged thereon and such other particulars as may be prescribed.

Further, As per Section 122(1)(i) of CGST Act, 2017, Where a taxable person who supplies any goods or services or both without issue of any invoice, he shall be liable to pay a penalty of ten thousand rupees or an amount equivalent to the tax evaded which ever is higher.

As the redbus is not issuing GST invoice to none of their customers, severe action to be taken against the entity.
