[Resolved] Redbus — provided non a/c bus for a/c bus booking and refusing to refund the difference | |
I booked a a/c bus with redbus for travel on 09/sep/2018 from oddanchatram to chennai. The operator gave a non a/c bus instead of a a/c bus. When asked the operator (Enjoy bus) said that a/c is not working. The same operator operates both a/c and non a/c bus. The cost of a/c is rs.1050 whereas non a/c cost is rs.700. I complained about this on 9th sep itself. After continuous calls from my end (Apparently redbus policy doesn't allow to send email to customers) they are now saying that they have confirmed the a/c was apparently not working and that the operator is willing to refund rs.100. How is this a fair compensation. When the difference between the a/c and non a/c bus of the operator itself is rs.350, redbus is trying to shut me up with rs.100. Now they have closed my complaint without even informing me. Isn't this cheating? The windows can be opened which means it is not a a/c bus. My friend trvelled in the same bus abut booked via paytm.
