I am appalled by the blatant negligence and disrespectful behavior displayed by your staff on 15 June. I had booked a seat on your bus (Bus No. DD01AA9437) from Chandigarh to Bhuntar via RedBus, with a scheduled boarding time of 4:05 AM at Sector 43 Petrol Pump. I arrived at 3:50 AM, well in advance, yet the bus left before schedule, abandoning passengers and causing severe inconvenience.
To make matters worse, the helper ([protected]) verbally abused passengers when contacted, and the driver (Abhishek – [protected]) blatantly lied about the departure time. When asked for the location at 4:15 AM, instead of helping, the driver disconnected the call, refusing to assist.
What is absolutely disgraceful is that this reckless conduct stranded a 63-year-old woman, a registered passenger, at 3 AM, leaving her helpless in the dark early hours.
To add to the gravity of the situation, she is a diabetic patient, further increasing the risk and distress caused by your irresponsibility. This is unacceptable and dangerous.
I demand the following immediate actions:
- Full refund for my ticket as well as compensation or Rs 6000
- Strict disciplinary action against the responsible staff.
- A written apology for the misconduct.
Failure to act on this complaint will force me to escalate the matter to consumer forums, legal authorities, transport authorities, and social media to ensure public awareness of this horrendous service.
I expect a response within 24 hours, failing which I will proceed with further legal steps.
