[Resolved]  Reliance Bigtv — Set top box

My set top box provided by Reliance Big TV has been out of order since Dec 15th . I contacted them via e mail as well as phone and this is the response I received.

"This is with reference to your e-mail dated December 22, 2016 for your Reliance Digital TV Smart Card number[protected], regarding Set Top Box issue.

We understand the inconvenience caused and take this as feedback to improve our service to meet your expectations.

We request you to reconsider your decision for service cancellation and provide us an opportunity to resolve the issue.

Your complaint is already registered, vide Service Request ID[protected] on 22/12/2016 and it will be resolved within 48 hours from the time Service Request is registered.

We request you to co-operate with us.

Once the issue get resolved, we will pass the necessary waiver for service interruption.

However nothing has happened as of today Dec 30th. When we call customer support no one answers the call or they just put us on hold.They are okay with us dropping their service, but unwilling to replace the set top box.I have paid Rs 2880 for service until July 2017.When asked if they could refund the balance they have replied in the negative.If I am going to disconnect, I at least need my refund back from these scammers.I hope stern action is taken against their corrupt practices.
