Many a time you will find that the amount is debited, that you have received a notification - either via mail or message, but the amount is not reflected, or as in your case the data plan is not activated. I suggest that you either wait for the plan to get activated, say for a couple of days. If you still don't receive it, then ask the customer care executives to help you out. On a side note, you can try this app called Bill Bachao. The app lists a few best plans for your service provider based on your usage. It also saves your plan for future usage.
