[Resolved]  Reliance Communications — Unfair bill settlement and threatening

Dear Sir/madam, I have been harassed by reliance netconnect or reliance communications over unfair bill settlement. I have sent the below email to them which will explain the issue for your kind perusal.

Dear Reliance,

This is with reference to Bill no.[protected] Reliance 3G Broadband no. [protected], please be informed that the due amount mentioned in settlement bill is wrong. The same has been conveyed to your customer care executives and recovery department several times. I am again mentioning the reasons as below:

1. The internet did not work for 2 months i.e. Sept 15 (09.09.2015 to 08.10.2015) and Nov 15 (09.11.2015 to 08.12.2015). Despite of several complaints (online, phone, etc), reliance did not fix it. I was told that it will be solved shortly. With that good faith I paid the bill for the Sept 15 even when whole Sept my net did not work (you can check the usage in Sept bill no.[protected] but to my disbelief same problem occurred in Nov 15 and whole November it did not work (you can again check the usage in Nov bill no.[protected].
2. Due to above reason I clearly informed your customer care executive that unless and until my internet do not work again I will not pay the bill. But still it did not work. Hence I surrendered the account. While surrendering, I clearly informed the customer care to raise a final bill by reducing monthly rental of Sept 15 and Nov 15 because internet did not work. But again to my disbelief you raised the bill with full value. Moreover you have not subtracted the safety deposit from it. Hence I do not accept the bill (this is already informed to your customer care executive earlier). Please find below my calculation:

3. One more thing, please ask your immature recovery department to do not give me a harassing and threatening fake calls by mentioning that she is a lawyer calling from Delhi Court and rudely suggests/warns me for out of court settlement (today I again got call from [protected]). It sounds stupid and hampers reliance goodwill. These things are provoking me to go to consumer forum or make it issue on social networking forum like twitter. Avoid such stupid mistakes.

Dear Reliance.

Please check your facts before deciding that problem has been solved. Yes I received a call from your representative but she did not solve the problem. She just asked me in detail about my complaint. She clearly informed me that my feedback has been noted and proper action will be taken. But action has not been taken yet. Rather I received an email from Reliance that I have to pay the full bill amount without any choice and ignored the facts which I have written in my complaint. Neither you reduced the bill amount (of 2 months when my net was not working or disconnected by you) nor the security amount has been reduced from final bill. Hence, we are back to square 1 without any solution. So please do not say that the problem has been resolved to my satisfaction.
