I have purchased AOC 40 Inch FHD TV on 3 Jan 2015 and have got 1 year warranty and 2 years of extended warranty with Reliance Resq until January 2018. I have paid Reliance ResQ for extended warranty. TV stopped working all of a sudden in Feb 2017 and after multiple call to reliance service finally they attended and obliged to take the TV for service once they get the defective part from Mumbai. But they didn't pick up the TV until 21 April 2017. Even after accepting the TV set complete with box and remote on 21 April they have been saying the replacement part is yet to arrive. This week I have been told part is old and there are new models so they not be able to repair but can get compensation.
But there is no concrete response or dead line for this case. In case they cannot repair the product they should provide me compensation immediately and mention the amount in advance. I have attached the receipt provided to me by reliance when picking the product for service.
