[Resolved]  Reliance Digital — Refund issue - Oneplus mobile


I had placed an order for Oneplus 11 mobile on 26 Feb 2023 through Reliance Digital (Online). My order number is RDF48594221. The mobile was supposed to be delivered on 28 Feb 2023, but was not delivered. When contacted the customer support, they said due to technical issues they were not able to deliver the order. They updated status as "As requested, we have initiated the return" but the fact was the item was not delivered and I never placed a request for return. They said they do have the item in stock but they cannot re-initiate the delivery again as the item was marked for return. They asked to re-order the item and said they would initiate the refund and amount would be credited to account within 7 working days. I escalated the issue through Reliance customer support, but this turned out to be even pathetic service. The escalation team has been incompetent to handle the issues. They were neither able to re-initiate the delivery nor able to give back my hard earned money in time. Now they are asking to wait 72 hours more to resolve the issue and they have not yet initiated the refund. Pathetic thing is that I neither get any SMS or emails or call back from the support. It has been a horrible service. Other vendors, they do refund the amount in case of any issues within 2-3 days. But I don't understand why Reliance digital with so much of advancement in technology is not refunding customer's money even after 7 working days. I called on 8th March, they said I would be getting the amount by 9th March (End of Day). I called again on 9th March (around 7 pm), they said they will arrange a call back within 10 minutes but the call was never made. I am frustrated in making calls again and again. The Reliance digital stores didn't had the stock and later on querying the status to customer support they said that they don't have the stock. If the stocks are not there, why are they allowing the customer to place an order? Is this any scam where the company is trying to make money? I request the concerned authority to take action against Reliance Digital and get me my money soon.
