Reliance Digital — Formal Complaint Regarding Improper AC Installation Order ID: [protected]

Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding the installation and service of the LG 1.5 Ton 5-Star AC, which I purchased from Reliance Digital, Patia Store, on April 16, 2024—approximately one and a half months ago.
The installation was carried out 9–10 days later, around 1:00 PM, by the assigned engineer Mr. Prabhu Mohanty (accompanied by another individual, possibly his assistant). Unfortunately, the installation was conducted in a haphazard and unprofessional manner.
The technicians appeared to be in a hurry and failed to follow basic installation protocols. A large hole was drilled to pass the compressor wire, but white cement was neither applied nor was I informed that it was required—a clear lapse in standard procedure.
Additionally, the technicians charged extra for the following:
₹300 for 3 meters of extra wire
₹100 for a plug
₹200 for stand fitting
₹300 for an unspecified service
This is over and above the ₹1500 already paid as the standard installation charge. Despite fulfilling all payment demands, the job was not completed properly.
As a direct consequence of this poor workmanship, rats have entered through the unsealed hole and chewed the motor wires, making the AC non-functional. It is deeply disappointing that such negligence has caused this issue. I expected a far more reliable service from a reputed brand like Reliance Digital.
When I contacted customer care, I was shown a photo as evidence that white cement was used. However, the image shared does not depict my AC installation, raising serious doubts about the authenticity of the response. I have attached two photos below to show the actual condition.
I sincerely thank the LG service personnel who inspected the unit and confirmed that white cement was not applied, as per standard installation guidelines. He also clarified that ensuring proper sealing is the responsibility of the installation engineer.
I request the following actions from your side:
Immediate investigation into this matter and identification of the responsible personnel.
Rectification of the issue, including proper sealing of the hole and repair of the motor wiring at no additional cost.
Measures to ensure such negligence does not recur with other customers.
Please treat this as a formal complaint and escalate it to the concerned authority without delay.
