Dear Sir,

I have purchased Mothers Horlicks from Reliance Fresh on October 2008. I saw that the date of manufacture is August 2007 and it has expired on June 2008. They are not taking the product back and returning the money. Instead they are asking me to exchange the product with some other product. Mistake is on their side and they are talking very rude. Is this not a criminal offense in selling expired food products?

Dear Sir,
This is the story of another victim who had purchased a couple of crabs from Reliance Delight at Kharkhana, Secunderabad. I repeatedly asked the guy about the freshness of the crabs available in the cool box. Having been assured about the quality, i purchased some 600 grms of marine crabs from them and paid through my debit card. The actual saga started there after. After spending a good amount of time on cleaning and cooking, I arranged for a dinner for the whole family ( includes two children). No sooner did we finish eating, I developed some allergic symptoms ( boils and swelling). I felt my head reeling. So was the case of my wife. My daughter has been suffering from high temperature since then. I found no time to confront the retail shop as have been running around the hospitals. Kindly help me in this regard about reaching the right person for the possible redress.

Please stay away from all Relaince Delight. They have very poor management, cheap labour and worst stocks of Non-veg always. We purchased dry prawns. When we came home and saw it had lot of small tiny bugs moving around all over. And their "Fresh Eggs" all are bad. The moment we put the egg in the water it floats on. When we went back the guy in the store is so cool he keeps those back in the same place. Failing to understand the purpose.

    Today (16/10/2008) around 11.45 hrs. I visited your retail outlet near Korattur railway station and purchased 2kgs of rice plus one bottle of pickle and approached the billing counter for payment. Though there were 10 staff members available, most of them idle, only one counter was functioning with a queue waiting .When I asked one of the staff member of reliance fresh why not one more counter be operated for the convenience of suctomers the sarcastic reply from your staff member is that only one counter will function and the customers have to use only the available counter.
    I approached another staff member at the reception desk and told her that if this is the way of function by reliance fresh then the customers will prefer to buy products from outside shops and the looser will be nothing but Reliance fresh.
    As there was no response, I came out without purchasing as the transaction in the only functioning counter will take atleast 20 to 30 minutes for my turn.
    Please ensure that the staff are not idle and behave in a responsible manner with customery approach atleast in future for the betterment of the organisation.

    Reliance fresh retail — Items shown below MRP on shelf are charged at MR.P at the billing counters

    Relaince fresh franchisses in some Bangalore locations bill products at MRP in billing counters but display price labels at below MRP prices thus cheating customers and doing unethical business. Can govt authorities look into this malpractice by them?

    Reliance fresh retail — Poor customer support

    I have ordered some items to be delivered at home from reliance fresh, palasia center. Despite of several calls and follow-ups on a daily basis, I have not received the home delivery.
    Sir/Madam,
    I have been a regular conumer of anik ghee since the past number of years and have always been satisfied about the quality. I purchased a pack of anik ghee (1 kg pack) recently in the first week of september 2009 from Reliance Fresh, Shastri Nagar, Delhi - 110052. After purchasing the product I did not care to retain the bill since the products are generally used by consumers as and when required. Yesterday (i.e. on 14.9.2009) when the pack was opened for consumption we noticed that a foul sour smell was cominmg out of it. The Batch No. of the product is E03B336, manufactured in June 2009. I took the pack as it is to the Reliance Fresh outlet from where it was purchased by me on the next date itself i.e. on 15.9.2009. However, Mr. Ajay (Customer Care Representative) refused to take back the product since I did not retain the bill. I though asked him to verify the computer records so that it can be easily assertained through the Bar Code on the pack that the same was purchased from the saidf outlet of reliance, but he refused to do so on one pretext or the other. I was dissapointed, hence this mail. In today's senario of India consumer satisfaction is the most important for the business groups like reliance & anik, (specially when it comes to products of consumption like Desi Ghee). I therefore restrain myself from any further complaints and invovlement of media etc. in the matter for the time being so that necessary action may be takenb on your behalf at the earliest.     Hi,

    In Reliance fresh near Korattur station we are facing Poor Customer service, cost of the grocery materials are too high Eg 1kg of Dal rice in Reliance fresh 56/- but same product it seems only 38 Rs/- . Some products are existing their period of life...
    All products are seems so expensive compared departments stores like PONNU Super market, Spencers etc..
    Be aware to choose your grocerries on right shop with right Price.

      i have purchased some products from RELIANCE FRESH LIMITED, 89C, MOULANA A.K.A SARANI AT SWABHUMI, KOLKATA-700054 (BILL REFERENCE : C1009 #0044 18:40:51 12OCT2008 S02328 R001) AND NOTICED FOLLOWING MISTAKES :-
      1. THEY HAVE NOT GIVEN ME FREE GIFT OF Rs 24/= WITH PURCHASE OF CHM KARORGOLI400G.
      2. THEY HAVE CHARGED Rs 56/= FOR MESWAK PASTE 200G WHILE MRP PRINTED ON TOOTHPASTE WAS Rs. 53/=
      3. THEY HAVE NOT HARGED ANY AMOUNT FOR AXE SHAVING CREAM ( PRICE PRINTED WAS Rs. 49/=)

      I THINK RELIANCE FRESH LIMITED IS NOT SERIOUS ABOUT THEIR BUSINESS AS BEACAUSE I HAVE NEVER NOTICED SUCH TYPE OF MISTAKE IN OTHER OUTLETS BILL.

        Sir,

        I am a regular visitor of Reliance Fresh Store at Nangloi, Delhi. on 1st Oct -08 I visited Reliance store to buy some milk. As asked by the Security Guard, I left my helmet on the desk beside him. When I returned to him after purchasing I didn't find my helmet there. When I asked him, he replied it was not his duty to guard customers' articles. After making complain to the store superviser, he got me connected to the store manager and district manager over phone and I was asked to lodge my complain in the store complain register which was nothing but a simple register.

        I lodged my complain in the register as complain no. 4, but they denied me giving any receiving.

        After that I kept calling them for the result of my complain and every time I got assured that it was in process.

        On 7th October, I got reply from the Store Manager, Mr. Ajay Mobile no. [protected] that it is the customers' responsibility to take care of his articles and the store is not responsible for any loss.

        Now, I want to ask them

        1. If it is customers responsibility then why they are asked to keep their things with security guard?
        2. Why the customers are not issued a token in return?
        3. Why the do not display "Take of of your articles, the store is not responsible for it"?
        4. Why I was asked to register complain, when this was so?
        5. Why I got reply so late?

        I got very hurt not because of loosing my Rs. 1000.00 helmet but because of the customer care service to a branded store like Reliance.

        I request you all not to keep your articles with security guard, even if asked by him, else be ready to loose it.

        Reliance — POOR SERVICE BY CUSTOMER CARE

        I have a number [protected]. It was a prepaid lifetime connection. It was working properly till[protected]. Suddenly[protected] my phone became unable to make outgoing calls & incoming calls. I got find out there was running new number on my phone. I was surprised .
        I met to Mr. Udit Bhatia & told him whole story. He said to me, " Don't worry I will solve this problem"
        After three or four months I got my number [protected] but without lifetime connection.
        To make lifetime connection I have make many mail to Mr. Udit Bhatia & Mr. Akhiles Sharma. But my problem as still as it was.
        My phone getting all SMS from all network. But I am unable to make out going calls & incoming calls.
        I am facing this problem since one year.

        grossary items from reliance fresh — not delivering gift items

        I purchased grossary items from reliance fresh store, UG 5-6& 23, Chandan complex 54-55, Subhash Marg Indore(M.P) worth Rs. 1072.80 on[protected] with an offer of gift of six pcs of glass dinner plates.That time it was not delivered by saying that item is out of stock and Iwas told that after two to three days it will be dilivered to you.For last one month after every two-three days I enquire about my gift but always the same replies I get.Lastly I was challenged that whatever Ican do, we dont bother about your complaint.In this situation what should I do, please advise or it is a harrasment of a customer in the name of such a big corporate house like Reliance.

        Reliance Fresh — Descrepency in bill and broken product poor service

        Myself Nilam Kumar, a resident of East Vinod nagar... I generally used to purchase all consumable items from Big stores like Big Bazar, more, Mega martetc .On 9 july, 2008 from your East vinod nagar Store i purchased some of house hold including CFl it was not cheked . when I taken this at home and pluged I found that CFL is alredy broked I also found descrepency in bill in bill they have charged 99 rupees for umbrella which I wsas tot taken.

        When i took over that CFLto relaince store ... your executive has told me we cant take it back or exchange because it is broken by you then person who was there on the counter guided me to carry it back as they cannt keep it with them and can not do anything.i was asked him about yor customer care No or mail id he has not given me and told me keep ur experience in register and given very poor service which u cant expact even from a subji wala.

        Actually it is not the thing of money it is regarding your service to ripping of customers

        I wolu like to share following

        When i asked bout the Complaint form then scenarion was somewht like this:-

        1) No customer complaint Form was available at the store.
        2) In name of customer Feedback register, they have a simple register having no book number, no serial number etc mean if somebody want to remove that page no one can track that there was any page also. I am sure that no one reads that feedback form.more over it has to handed back over to the same supervisor with no assurance that same would be reported.
        On insisting a lot when that person manage a conversation with stroe manager and i told whole scenarion to him then for the store was shameless and rude and guided to me register the complaint on reliance portal with help of desk boy but no registration number they can provide for that. He agreed that it is common with all Reliance Fresh stores across and is part of company Policy and he is helpless in this.

        When i asked that some confirmation of the complaint must have to be there...he replied very rude that its a big company like reliance that can never deal in paper work ...
        I have purchase One Dinner set but at first inspection ( when the item delevered @my res I want to inspect the article but the delivery person said It is ok no need for inspection but I found out of 28pcs i have received 27 pcs and a hairline broken plate, aslo i have purchased One car polish when i opened It found 3/4th of the polish was consumed b4 my purchase.

        Reliance Fresh — An Unhappy customer

        5 th of Nov 2008 19:30 hrs I bought groceries for Rs 2000. and waited for long time for a person to attend me for a bill. Inspite of billing the rude behaviour of the staff surprised me. This poor service is not expected from such a excellent company.

        till time ie 6th of Nov 2008 17:20 hrs the grocery was not delivered and when promted for delivery they are cannot attend my request and they are poorly trained to attend a customer

        I like to bring your kind notice that reputed organisation like reliance fresh is surprising to find that attending staff at your Mansarover Garden Outlet was rude & non cooperative. When brought to his notice regarding expired goods and damaged food items It was ignored. Further there was no supervisory staff and the sales boys where not even bothered to help senior citizens and phisical handicaped in locating & handling of the purchases for which they have come. I hope proper and needy solution to this will be taken by the concerned person.

        I have a complain regarding items packing date. I am a regular customer of Relience fresh but from past 4 months I have found that items kept at store are very old like I purchased Budhani wafers and when I came to my home I found that it was smelling badly because it was expired .I again went to the store and ruturned the packet.
        The recent incident, Yesterday i went to purchase Lakme face wash and the mfg date was 12/07. Then I asked the storeman why is it so that u are keeping the item with atleast 1 years old mfg date and he replied but it will expire after 10 months so you can purchase it.
        Now tell me cant you get the fresh stock for the customer. This is happening from past 4 months. I have seen things available with mfg date around year 2006 at the time when 2008 is about to end.
        Why cant you get the fresh stocks at Dhanukar colony store, Pune.
        No idea about other outlets.
        This is to let you know that I just visited your store in Vasai east few days back, and I had my mother along with me as her hand bag was little big the store keeper asked us to hand over the bag at the counter...my mother said it was not a bag however an expensive ladies hand bag that cannot be kept he took the bag folded the bag without our permission and put it inside a store back not even that he also locked the bag stating that when we will pay at the counter the cash counter people will open it up...this is such a an embarassing thing for us how DARE you people or the OWNER of this organization do such a thing, they may not be respected on their own...so let them respect people like us...there are spencers and stores like More they never behave like you people...and look at you people...so DIGUSTING...I actually feel like pulling you people to the consumers court for your behaviour...the first thing you people should do is to send an apology to us...and then we will think further about the same...

        i am one of the consumer of reliance fresh, i use to bring milk packets i.e, reliance milk daily, the actual timings is 8am, but still the shop of reliance donot offer that partucular day of fresh milk at vanasthalipuram
        im a resident of thippasandra, bangalore and i must say the reliance fresh outlet here is the worst.the vegetables are rotten, the baskets for shopping are very unclean, the staff are incourteous n impolite are in no way helpful, the store manager is a goon, they take frsh stock while the store is open in full swing and leave the billing counters unattended as they are busy with stock taking.there are some other staff there who seem so engrossed in conversation n flirting with eachother that they pay no heed to the customers queries.i have stayed in the queue for a whole 45 minutes cos the staff manning the couters seem to go away for small small things like share a joke and all.the staff have no clue of good customer service and they also keep singing songs along with the radio while billing which really irritates a customer.customers fighting with the staff are regular sights in this store.
        this is really not appreciated from a company as reputed as reliance.in all other retail showrooms of reliance i have attended the service is very good be it footprints or timeout.but the reliance fresh outlets are a real shame to the chain.
        i really request some action be taken.it would be great if you could do a total revamp of the staff at the Thippasandra outlet here.also kindly ensure that the staff taken are given lessons on good customer service.

        I bought a Weston DVD from a reliance fresh, lower mall, Patiala, Punjab.The remote of the DVD was not functioning properly .I have given back the remote to the store for replacing it .I have been to the store many times, but they are not replacing my remote.I has been two months since i have given my remote for the replacement.My DVD is lying ideal kindly take the dvd back or get my remotew replaced and i am very much diaapointed with the service of the reliance fresh...

        I was appalled at the attitude of the Store Manager at Reliance fresh Konnanakunte, Bangalore when I had bought a pkt of ID Parathas-5 nos.The MRP mentioned is Rs 28/- while the billing rate is Rs 35/-.On asking, the store manager simply told me that I had to buy the same at Rs 35/- only or raise a complaint.The irresponsible attitude of the person put me off -instead of him calling his central office and sorting out the problem he was bent on selling the product above MRP.The same needs to be reported to the Sales Tax Dept as they are selling a product much above the MRP an cheating customers.

        Hi sir this is Brahmananda am working at Reliancefresh (Ayyappa store )from last 3.5months over manager Mr. Ranjendra is vary bad person plese over store workers are requvesting to change hm.
        even reliance foot prints is the same. i gave my shoes for repairing on 8th and till date (25th) i have not received it back. on asking they say u will get it tomorrow.

        Reliance Fresh — Reliance Fresh Bad Customer Care Service

        I have a reliance fresh temporary memeber ship card from past 1 1/2. yrs.
        I asked many time to reliance fresh cutomer care regarding my permanent card.
        The store pepole aske me to call cutomer care #[protected] .When I will call to this number it will transfer the call to voice msg box and later no responce from their end.

        The way customer care people reply on the store are very rude.
        reliance fresh shiv mandir road opp balasatimata govt. hospital jodhpur (raj) - amul cheese spread sold by this store to me on 22 jan 2010 found to be petrified and perished and was found to bearing date of manufacture jan 2009 on complaint instead of refunding the money the store staff asked to purchase another item of equal value.such an attitude is a fraud with consumer.

        They have 6 billing counters, but there are only 2 of them working. As customers are used to it they have made it habbit. its usual to have a long queue there. as a result we don't feel like going there and purchase items from local market. management is very poor there. The billing counters are there only for show piece.
        Something should be done about this.

        I have a complain about reliance fresh Ghoddod Road, Surat
        Your branch in ghoddod road surat, There I have purchased Goods of amount 493/- Rs on 30 th march 2010 in morning 11 o'clock. First I offered them card payment, they tried it for 2 times, I was insisting them not to repeat but they were in action and didn't listen to me. Already I have suffered double payment . The thing again repeated and I have given cash and card payment twice. Now they told me to show the statement and are telling that they didn't recieve the card amount. It is also far away from my place. Their behavior was very rood. So please give us the solution on this matter.

        Reliance Fresh — Selling Rotten Onions in a packet

        Hi,

        I wanted to bring to the notice of concerned officials that Reliance Fresh Outlet at Vikhorli (E) is selling onions in packet. These onions looks good from outside but contains rotten onions inside.

        I went to ask for the refund but the store managers (Mr Santosh) started arguing that quality is subjective thing and what is bad for you is good for us. He refused to refund the amount.

        The person even misbehaved and at the end has given a printed sticker of onion saying you can buy this value of goods anytime from us but this guy was not ready to issue a credit note!! I dont understand what kind of 'customer care' is this!!

        Reliance Fresh — Impoliteness, Arrogance and Deceit

        I want to register complaint against arrogance of the gate-keeper at the Reliance Fresh store at Charai, Thane (W). Also I would like to bring to your notice that under the pretext of shortage of the reliance bags, the customer service was providing a large bag such as those that are used by street vendors and hawkers. It is practically impossible to carry such a large bag in monsoon or stuff it into any vehicle. When I refused to hand over the large bag to the customer service again because of feeling cheated, the gate-keeper started shouting. We were not allowed to take the bag which, otherwise we were supposed to carry and so, gave up the bag. This whole incident has been very embarrassing and we felt like we were being ill-treated. Kindly take note about the whole incident and take the necessary action required at your earliest.

        Reliance Fresh — bad food expire 10 months before the expire date

        i am arun pathak buy the reliance company packed jam from the reliance fresh najafgarh new delhi -110043 store in the month of September last week packing date is Aug 2011.. but in the month of November 2011 the jam is full of fungous and the date of expire is August2012. but the reliance product expire in the two months.. so i want to take action against reliance company . me n my family effected with that bad food ..

        Reliance Fresh — Damaged Product

        I bought 3 cornetto butterscotch Ice cream at Reliance fresh shop at Hebbal Kempapura, Bangalore.

        I was not able to eat a bit of it as it was totally damaged. Ice cream was in "UN-CONSUMABLE" condition, and also the cone. Threw away. Very much angry with this and hence the compliant.
        Today I went to Reliance Fresh Store Hasanpur Village and shop for Rs. 577.09. Towards payment I have provided my HDFC Bank Debit Card. The card has been swiped by the Cashier equivalen amount of Rs. 577.09. As per cashier's machine transaction by hdfc bank not authorised and there was no charge slip signed by me. Cashier has taken the amount in Cash Rs. 577.09 from me. After some time aprox 7-8 minutes when I left the store I have received sms from HDFC Bank that Rs. 577.09 has been debited from my account toward settlement of my purchase from Reliance Fresh. Immediately I rushed to the Store and asked for refund of Rs. 577.09 as the store has charged me twice.

        Supervisor of the Store and cashier refused to refund my money and they were asking for the bank statement to prove that my account has been debited. They were not believing the sms sent from HDFC Bank.

        This is really surprising and shocking. I will visit the store tomorrow i.e. on 5/6/2012 with the bank statement and try for refund of my excess amount paid to Reliance Fresh store.

        With this note I request the Management of Reliance Fresh to lookinto such matters for immediate resolve & solutions in the interest of the customers.

        Yes i agree to the above Reliance Fresh Stores Charai Thane is famous for the rotten vegetables expiry products and misbehaviour with customers. I myself reside in charai thane and have noted that there is no cleanliness in the premises rotten vegetable potatoes onions tomatoes fruits are sold at a high price. I request strict action to be taken against them.
        i had purchase one fruit jam from Reliance fresh bangalore, with buy one get one free offer, i got one one at counter(free item was not delivered), before billing i ask for same, they informed that now price is this, so i confirm with manager and after confirmation of Reliance manager, i ask to provide me free item, they started raising there voice, and called me next day morning, i am really very upset and i feel Reliance fresh manager's behavior was not cooperative and very poor service,

        reliance fresh is generally good, however, i have one complaint.they want you to keep personal things like your body spray at the shelf with the security guard.not only is it likely to get lost, it is not required to keep personal items in full public view, with people wondering why you are carrying these things.once there was one employee following me inside asking me whether i was carrying cosmetics.i did'nt reply, just showed him my bag.that's another thing, why should i show a guy what i am carrying in my ladies' handbag?why can't they have female attendants to check the bags.

        I am a banking professional so i do understand what does it take to build a business, but i also consider the facts which may ruin the business.

        Just a well wisher, i visited ur BTM reliance fresh outlet.and i found many loopholes . Examples few:

        # Arguing and arrogant employees (I really can not call them Professionals in any sense and i mean it)
        # Bad sense of service(While still there were so many customers in the outlet they closed all the counters but
        two...which caused me to bill my items after 15 minutes.. )


        I[censored] guys want detailed description of everything, u can call me on my no#[protected]...I will help u all the possible to close the loopholes..
        Pathetic service, arrogant attitude of staff and lying to sell the products.
        I saw the add in 1-May-2013 Gurgaon Times of reliance fresh advertising 1.2 Lt Slice selling at 31 Rs, but when I went to Sector--31 Gurgaon Reliance fresh store, They were selling it at 33 Rs.

        More over Their store had 2 price slips for same products (Rooh Afja).. When I brought this to notice of store sale person, instead of admitting and correcting mistake, he started behaving rudely.

        When I asked for Store manager, i was told, storekeeper is not there.. I decided not to leave counter until meeting deputy storekeeper... and he only appeared when I asked for complained book.

        Very disappointed at the behaviour of reliance fresh... Can anybody look at this and revert back?

        I am a regular customer of reliance fresh and i have following complaints against the reliance fresh near Gaba Hospital yamunanagar haryana.
        1. Milk (mainly family milk and dairy life milk) is preferably sold to the shopkeepers and milkmen instead of normal public and due to this the milk gets finished before 0700 hrs most of the time
        2. The better quality vegetables is stored by the storemen in the store rooms and is billed for their own homes in the evening at lower rates.
        3. The most of the scheme tags are not attached with the products and the normal public is unable to take benefits of it.Always we have to ask the storemen for the scheme and also the rates of certain products. Some of the products like cold drinks and biscuits are not available at all whenever there is any scheme on them
        4. The no of workers in the store is also very less than required and if a person needs help, he/she needs to find a storeman for that.Even then its not sure that he will help or not. The AC and billing facility is also very poor. There is only one billing counter working at most of the times.
        5. The last thing is the management of the products is not up to the mark.Mostly the vegetable crates and milk crates in the morning are lying here and there all around in the store which looks very untidy.Due to this the customers faces a lot of problem in taking the vegetables.
        6.Paper bags required for the grocery products are also unavailable most of the times.
        7. No change is available, instead the toffees are given in the change everytime
        I am writing this complaint because reliance fresh in the starting had a very good sales but because of these and many other factors common man is stopping to go there, only the shopkeepers go there to buy products.
        In future also i will continue giving my feedback to the company
        Today I parches my need able thing wide my Reliance card No..[protected] at 9.45.24 Hrs as per declare in paper Real Juice Costing Rs.85 Reliance price 68/- I pick up Two No.s but cost is not down it is showing Rs 85/- only hence I return back . I thing this type of activities will effect your sale and confidence of your valuable costumers

          I m regular visitor of Reliance fresh store at Tamoor Nagar, New friemds colony, new delhi. On 6th Oct at 7pm I went to buy 25bottles of Reliance nor ask others to use 2ltr each of Coke, Fanta and Limca with 10x1 ltrs of frooti. It was agreed upon that upon locating and placing the reqd numbers in night, I shall be able to collect in the morning of 7th Oct at 7.30am. The whole process went off and at the time of billing, the gift item with every 999/- ourchase was not getting logged in and my 45 mts was wasted for this and ultimately I was not given the delivery. I find very funny that inspite of my saying you may give me the gift later on, the whole 3000/- worth of goods were taken back. The man Sandeep made me talk to one Sidartha, his senior on cell BUT Nothing helped. Is the technology to be used for good purpose or kill the job ?
          I had party in the afternoon of 7th and had to run like mad to arrange the stuff. I know nothing will happen BUT for sure, I am neither going to patronize it.

            I am a regular visitor to purchase the needed house hold things from relaince fresh since it started.
            but to-day when i went to purchase the things to hydernagar branch relaince fresh stores there the entire entrance is been blocked with freshly arraived stocks & so many is selecting as they need, i also did the same for few minutes all of the sudden one of the costmer service attandant started shouting the consumers in abbusive language and started irritated, mean while me and my wife both were putting the selected vegtables in proper way where the trolly's is usually arranged, just to take & move into the stores again he came and started shouting in such a filthy language i could't belive for some time, than i realised he is targeting us. than i asked for the manager of the stores where he is not available for more than hour, His name is Mr.Narsingh, even i tried to contact him to his mobile he did't answer .
            then the supervisor is started shouting on us & trying to command us like his asisstant, where as their main job is to serve the people & arrange the things to make it easy for consumer, Here it's has become reverse, Now this stores started to make this coustmer service attandant & supervisor to shout the consumer and the abuse the people.

            Then i called to Toll free No:[protected] in this number Ms. Vandana, as she claims her self as excutive of the office, she said the compliant will be forwarded to concern persons so they will take action on this matter but how we the people will come to know is really they are going to take any action on them?
            Then i asked for what ever the money i should get as a points on purchase so i asked for pay the thins to me, it will make some evidence, for they made me to wait for one hour & then said redemtion coupon's are not available so they said & i wlaked out of the stores.

            AS DOCTOR I NO NEED TO WAIT FOR SUCH A LONG TIME IN THEIR STORES, AT END OF THE DAY IT HAS BECOME ONE OF THE OTHER UGLY SOTRES WHERE THE CONSUMER ASK FOR THEIR RIEGHTS, WHICH USED TO BE LAUGHED AT? IS THE RELAINCE FRESH & IT'S STORES ARE PROVED IT IS NOT DIFFERENT FROM ANY OTHER.

              it is in regard of the mismanagement and misbehavior or the staff deployed at reliance fresh, pawanpuri, BIKANER.

              1. here in the store generally do not paste price slip of the items properly and even don't upto date it.

              2. weight of several thing r not mentioned.

              3. do not provides the weekly discount scheme-scraps to the customers.

              4. all above they don't attend the complaints lodged in complaint register..the complaint register is not attended for last 6-8 months. even make lame excuses of forwarding the complaints.

              5. despite of these kinds of irregularities when i approached to the Manager Mr. Sandip Nagar-Ph. [protected]. he started arguing and quarreling with me. that his is not liable to answer me any thing. and even who am i to ask him about discrepancies. Even declared nothing will happen to him even i complaint to reliance management or to the Police or to the consumer forum.               they don't care about customers, the customers are suffering alot who are waitng billing the guys are very lazy... and they go out of counter every time and the customers will waitng in a big line it is tooo... painful to wait that much time in front of counter so plz... make the people attentive... or otherwise change the people.

                I wanted to inform you about the kind of customer service is provided in Reliance fresh store in sector 22 in chandigarh. I went to the store at 10 AM on 2nd oct and purchased goods like vegetables, fruits and other consumables. I requested for home delivery as i have to go some where else also.Ms Shalu in store assured me that maximum the delivery will be done by 2 PM. so i agreed but i informed them that i have to go out at 3 PM. At 3 pm when i didnot recieved the delivery i called back but the lady at delivery centre Ms Seema told me that it will be done at 4. Again at 4 i called back and this time Mr Ravi told me that it will be done at 5 Pm but after so many calls and cancelling my program to go out finally i got the delivery at 7 PM which was not aceptable coz due to this there was lot of inconvenience caused moreover the vegetables and consumables like butter was not in condition for consumption coz these were lying at delivery counter in polythene. I am genuinely harrased and if nothing will be done on this i have no choice but to file complaint with consumer forum in chandigarh.

                Reliance Fresh is not a store which has credibility. It charges more than the MRP printed on products. There is no e-mail address on the Reliance website on which customers can lodge complaints. I lodged a complaint on one e-mail address available on the website [protected]@ril.com but there has been no response.
                It is regretted that Reliance Industries does not have any contact link on its website to have any interaction with customers and stake holders of different companies of the Mukesh Ambani led empire.

                The biggest problem at Reliance Fresh Ltd stores is that they charge more than the MRP printed on a product.

                Today I purchased McCain Potato Bites from Reliance Fresh Ltd., SCO No. 62-63-64, Phase VII, Mohali, Punjab vide bill No C4657/#0088 dated 18.01.31,

                I was charged Rs 69/- for the product on which the MRP is Rs 59/-. (M26/11/10, B 11:18)

                The worst part is that there is no response on the telephone no [protected] printed on the bill.

                This is not the first time that such a thing has happened. I have been charged more than the MRP printed on a product a number of times. If one visits various consumer related websites one would come across a large number of similar complaints. It seems the Ambani's are building their empires by indulging in such practices and not providing any resolution to the customers for their grievances / complaints.

                VARIOUS COMPLAINTS ON DIFFERENT CONSUMER RELATED WEBSITES EXPLAIN THE RAGS TO RICHES STORY OF THE AMBANIS - MR DHIRUBHAI AND HIS SON ANIL AMBANI.

                PEOPLE SHOULD BOYCOTT RELIANCE FRESH STORES TO SET THEM RIGHT.

                  This is a complaint regarding false trade practises adopted by reliance fresh store .dugri road.ludhiana.whose sales manager is puneet singh. moile no:[protected].

                  1)The said store under his guidance displays wrong rates at the display counters and when the same is brougt to billing counter paying the bill one comes to know aout the discrepancy.

                  2) Hot offers introduced by the store sells products that are beyond expiry date nad hence they are playing with te consumer health. Innoent consumer brings the things unknowing of the expiry date without bothering to read it.

                  3) when a consumer wants the refund of his money back while pointing out the said discrepancy on the counter itself, that is without leaving the counter he is not given back his money back. and instead told to complaint at the complaint box which is again to be opened and read by the person agains whom com palint is to be made that is Mr Puneet Singh Mobile No:[protected]

                  4)They donot return the change to the customer instead they keep on collecting it at a secret box below the space where cash is kept and manage to sell toffees through out the day to so many customers . the said secret box was brought to the notice of the manger which he very kindly admitted nad had no explanation for the same.

                    i regularly shop at reliance fresh stores, , tirunagar, madurai. every time the remaining change of small amounts is not being refunded back on the pretext that small denomination coins are unavailabe. I would have so far lost minimum Rs25/- within three months.when i insisted for submitting my complaint the store executives cleverly told me that the register is misplaced and requested me to fill in a feed back form. what sort of cheating is this? will somebody look into and sort out this issue.The bill clerks rudely reply that they donot have change to give us back. I wonder will they accept if i pay 0.50ps less? i have decided not to shop with reliance anymore since i will cheated and helpless.

                        1. I think Reliance Fresh have made their Head office in Hell (Ambani Residence) as no one even the Fr. Mgr. of Vikaspuri (Tel no.[protected] does not have its Head Office addresses where any suggestion or complaint can be made if you are not satisfied with the Store.

                        2. The Schemes are not displayed in the Vikaspuri Store. The STore is just like a Pigeon Hole where all the items are put one above the other with no Hygiene. The bananas are get rotten with the apples and tomatoes so is the case with the old (fungal) bread. There is no one to help you out in this Ambani's Hell Store
                        located at Vikaspuri. No one listens and if you make any complaint Manager say they are helpless due to space constraint.

                        3. On 14 Sep 2008 Vide Cash Memo Number- C1020 #0080 19:25:35 S02604 R003 I had purchased a Dairy Pure Ghee 1000ML. It was having a scheme of 1Kg sugar free with it. The sugar was not given to me and told that it is with Dairy Pure Ghee Tetra Pack, which is not available.

                        this is ridiculous, when you have displayed a scheme it should be seen that the same material should be available in your store.

                        Reliance Fresh — product was not hygiene

                        I purchased a pineapple slice from Gurgaon Sec-17 Store .when i opened the packing of the same it was smelling like anything. i went back to shop i asked for store manager he was not in the store at that time .the all staff was not willing to give his number to me.when insisted then they have connected me with manager via phone. Mr. Manager said i can take another one . i tried another few packs but hey all are smelling.

                        Pathetic isthe word to describe your outlet on Red Cross Road in calicut. The outlet is a shambles with the staff totally oblivious to common curtsies. the floor is littered with trolleys replenishing items on shelves. Staff barge past in intimidating manner. Normal behaviour is hard come to notice. Sloppy display. In short i wud never again shop in ur place. Your cashiers are a lump. overall on a scale of 1 to 10 i wud give it a minus 5. and pls teach ur people working there some manners. including the security.

                        reliance fresh services — INDIFFERENCE TO CUSTOMER PROPERTY &CARE

                        I wanted to buy some cooking butter &other groceries from Reliance fresh shop at kaggadasapura, C V RAMAN NAGAR on janmashtami day[protected] . As the cooking butter was not available in the store I rushed to a nearby departmental store Newcity supermarket and purchased 2pkts of 500gm &200 gm cooking butter I came back to the Reliance shop and left the Butter in a carrybag near customer service desk as they do not have proper facility for taking care of customer property which is commonly available in all reputed stores. I finished my purchase in 10 minutes and went to pick up the butter packet and could not find it anywhere.
                        More than the loss the attitude of the Lady Manager was one of total indifference and She also stated that it is the policy of RELIANCE not to take care of any customer property.I also wrote a complaint in the Complaint register maintained(for namessake) Till date this complaint has not been noted or action taken to replace the loss as it is the moral responsibility of the store to own it. I noted that all the staff have been trained to be indifferent to customer and making profit is only their watchword.

                        Reliance Fresh — wasting water

                        Sir,
                        I reside at #22,first main rd.,m.k.b.nagar,vyasarpadi,chennai-39. We have a Reliance Fresh store right behind our house. The complaint is not about any of the products that I bought from there or their service. It is about the carelessness of the people working there. The water from the overhead tank in that building is pouring most of the time.
                        If the tank gets filled,the motor is not switched off at once. It takes atleast an hour or so for them to switch it off. Sometimes, the water pours down the whole night,and it stops only in the morning.I have brought this to their notice umpteen times,but if I tell it to the salesgirl,she points out the watchman,whereas,the watchman points to the salesgirl. They are not much bothered about wasting so much water. Chennai is a place where water scarcity prevails every year. Watching them wasting lots and lots of water makes me painful at heart.As its rainy season now,they might blame the rain. But for your kind information,this has been happening from the day the store was opened at M.K.B.Nagar. Please take proper action. Do let them know the value of water.

                        On 15th Nov 2009 I purchased some grossary of worth RS. 1393.00 from store of Reliance Fresh at Kalyan, Thane, Maharashtra.In that I purchased 2 kg sugar for Rs.78. On counter boy had added bill for sugar but while putting into carry bag, he missed the sugar into bag. On home i just noticed sugar bag is not their. I went to store, but store keeper not responed. I just want to talk to counter boy or their superior but he told me that supervisior is not feeling well & that counter boy not come on that.I also request him to check their web cam recording, but he also refuse for that.

                        When you wash the rice your hand gets a thick coat of grease / oil that is for certain used as some sort of coloring agent.

                        Because of No service by people like the so called one Ms. Sankari & counter service you have to close down shop, else your competitors will make you to shut your shop, through their efficient service, behaviour, approach etc.,
                        As we all remember The Great Legend Mr.Dirubhai Ambani -who built the Grand Great Empire of Reliance Group of Companies – but now the situation may destroy the Good name created / earned by The legend Mr.Dirubhai Ambhani & it will take a beat., in the days to come, if no corrective measures such as by removing such Useless staff else things will happen for a good Closure of your Outlets / Organisations.As you well aware that Some may take up to Consumer Protection Court, RTI, etc., Pl.Take care.                         on dated 14-nov-2011. I went to Reliance Fresh Urban Estate Phase 2 Jalandhar in the morning hour at about 8:23:13.I had to purchase some vegetables and D-LIFE milk. I asked shri.Ravinder kumar supervisior to give me polythene bag for vegetables but he rudely replied that no polythene bag is available.There was some other customers who are also demanding bag for putting vegetables etc.. I demanded complaint book but he stated to get the complaint from guard on duty i then asked the guard on duty to give me complaint book but the guard refused and asked to get it from the supervisior but the supervisior refused to give the complaint book and both guard and supervisior told that they did not care for the complaint. There are so many irregularities are being done in the Reliance Fresh Urban Estate Phase 2 Jalandhar.Much of the milk packets and vegetables are wasted due to inefficiency on the part of the supervisior.I here by suggest that special efforts may be made to avoid undue wastage of milk packet and vegetable and other things which become time barred. It will be better for the reliance fresh to sell the things on concession rates well before the time barred. The staff of reliance fresh may be strictly warned to the deal with customers politely and not rudely...

                        I am writing this to inform you about the inconvenience we faced when shopping at your RelianceMart at Crown Interiorz Mall, Faridabad. We had planned to go shopping at SRS Value Store near our place but my husband made a programme to go to your above-mentioned store since it is a huge store and we had the day off (Eid holiday). However, what was expected to be a pleasant experience turned out to be extremely uncomfortable what with the AC switched off totally. It was so hot inside the store and 20th Aug. was a very warm day. Let me inform you as it seems you are not aware that shopping inside any store with no air-conditioning can get very HARROWING for the customers.
                        Now for the second part.. my husband had made plans to visit the Mart as he wanted to surprise us by purchasing a new dining table for our home. He selected one and showed me. A store guy senior to the one we had been talking to asks from a distance, "kya hua?" and is told by us that "we're asking how this table will be delivered to us and we're given an auto-rickshaw no". Now, I totally understand the guy we had been talking to was of the lowermost strata at the store and would not know beyond. But the one who comes in now is senior to him. He then talks to this guy in a loud voice and says, "Tujhe mana kiya hai na kisiko kuch nahin dena hai number, customer yahan se apna saamaan kaise le jayega Vo HAMARA HEADACHE nahin hai! Usse kaise apna saamaan le ke jaana hai vo khud dekhega." REALLY! THANK YOU GUYS! Amazing Amazing customer service you provide.. you would put Sainsbury's and ASDA to shame.. I have given debit card in cash counter, but the said debit card not accepted in our counter. I said when i was purchased in Banjara Hills, Reliance Fresh they accepted why u r not accepted debit card. My card No. [protected]. Some times we can not carry money that time we have to face problem. This is for u r information and rectification Please.

                                I am Ajay Kumar from Yamuna Nagar - Haryana. I generally used to purchase all consumable items from Reliance Fresh including Milk. What i have noticed; during some promotional scheme days (when the milk is Rs. 2/litre chepaer) the people at Reliance Fresh will simply deny to sell milk to small customers like me who purchase 3 ltrs. of milk a day. Instead you can see crates of milk being loaded into wagons of dairywallahs and sub-sellors. Can you imagine a sardarji having a small confectionary shop just opp. Reliance Fresh is selling r-select milk and Reliance Fresh having no milk for its customers? Even the manager some Mr. Chopra is not good with the customers, when asked for they say "buy from someone, to whom i am selling, we have a tie up with them and they won't deny you". Is this what you call a retail store? You should stop selling at all to the small customers instead. This is not a single instance but a repeated one. Can you please provide me some e-mail ID or tel. no. of some senior person looking after reliance fresh affairs?

                                I am unsure of any response for my below query, nonetheless I enquire. I am a "loyal member" of Reliance Fresh of Gurgaon, sector 31. From times innumerable, from the onset of the store; the staff or rather the management does not pay back 50 paisa balance on a bill in cash or in kind. The Government of India has not yet stopped the circulation of the currency yet I understand it is difficult to return the same. What I request either these balances of 50 paisa are saved in the loyalty card which is issued to customers or the easiest solution would be hand over a good quality candy which are available in the market for that much price.
                                This might seem a petty issue over a petty currency but if valued for the "innumerable" times it is not returned it makes for a big deal.

                                  With great concern, I would like to point out that I went to the Reliance Fresh shop located at the 18th Main Road Anna Nagar West Chennai on 29th Aug 2008 around 7.45 p.m., and bought goods worth Rs. 519/- I have used my credit card towards the payment and unfortunately the check-out operator has informed me that the card has been declined. They did not issue me the decline receipt as proof. Immediately, I have contacted my bank and they informed me that there is a sufficient balance in my credit card account. I have contacted the Supervisor/Manager of the shop and she was not ready to listen to my compalint. She has also challenged me and said that I can complain to anybody and disconnected my telephone connection.

                                  In these days of cut-throat competition, this is a brazen example for discourteous service apart from tarnishing my credit history image.

                                    Till date i was the regular customer of reliance fresh but on 24/08/08, there was an offer on Reliance Select Milk Family Pack as well as on full cream milk at Bali Nagar Branch, near ramesh nagar Metro Station, New Delhi. And i purchased 500 ml pack-6 nos. i.e total of 3 ltrs., in this 1 ltr. was of full cream milk and 2ltrs. was of family pack and CASH MEMO Details:-
                                    C1008 # 0171 date 24/08/08 time: 21:10:18

                                    but i was surprised that all the quantity of milk which was boiled in different utensil (as there was two types of milk) got spoilt and there was no choice but to throw it, i went to reliance fresh br. to inform the same and their supervisor mr. mishra/ mr. shukla told me to complain the same on website as they can't refund the amount and to my surprise i was not the only person who was present there with this complaint atleast 4, 5 families were there.

                                    so i request you to look into this matter and hope that in future they should not cheat their customers who are choosing reliance fresh for their daily needs.
                                    further i request you to please if posible try to refund the amount of milk.

                                      My wife has been regular patron of Reliance Fresh outlet at Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad. But for last few days the Store manager has been making life difficult for regular patrons by not opening the store and making customers wait outside while giving lame excuses. The worse part is that they are allowing some selected customers to carry out shopping, who seem to be doing bulk purchases. This is very irritating as the morning hours are very hectic and it impacts our daily schedule.

                                      We hope the concerned person in charge take appropriat action at the earliest and treat each customer with equality.
