I was a regular visitor of Reliance Fresh Store located in Sector 16, Panchkula. As usual today we went for daily shopping in the store. While shopping my son took one boomer which was not included in the final bill. When asked by one of the watchmen, I took the boomer from child and asked the counter cashier to bill it. Suddenly one guard took away the boomer from the cashier and took it inside denying any payment of the same. Thereafter we left the store. That guard (looking like a goonda) came crying outside near to our car shouting and created a huge scene. The in-charge of the store when told about the misbehavior of the guard justified it as if that guard has been kept to misbehave and shout at the customers. I feel so sad after visiting the store and not feel like going again.

Purchased Frozen Potato 2 packets from reliance fresh dhab khatika amritsar branch on 16/09/2012, 17th evening, we fried but quality of food was not at all good and foul smell from potato pieces, 1 hal[censored]sed packet and 1 sealed packet I returned to reliance branch on 23/09/2012 .

They asked for bill but I did not keep bill, as buying goods from reliance for the last 5 years and this was the first time, I experienced bad quality, I gave my contact number, debit card number through which purchase was made, reliance membership card number and date of purchase.

I was assured by staff that I will be called upon but didnot receive any call for one week and again visited store on 30th Sept, Sunday to confim status but after waiting for 10 minutes Mr Deepak incharge came and told in absence of bill, replacement can be in terms of frozen foods only, Being old customer, at-least some courtesy must be there, even after giving card numbers, date of purchase, I didnot get response.

I donot want to buy frozen foods in replacement and you must replace all such stock as can cause bad health to customers,

Need solution on priority as in replacement, I donot want to buy frozen foods, will buy some other consumable.

Bought Two Pack of Lays Salted Chips against advertisement of Reliance Fresh " Buy Two Packs of 102 Gms for Rs.49 against MRP of Rs.60/"Bought 2pack against CM No.C6081 082 dt.17 Sep,2012 at 1400 hrs from their store at Gaji Gulla Road,Jalandhar City.On arrival at home Packs were found to be of 96Gms weight mentioned each.A Telephonic Complaint to store was made.Next day some Mr.Brajesh called to inquire about the nature of complaint since then nothing has been heard from store side.Sunil Ahuja

Today we went to reliance fresh , which we normally go on a Saturday to fill up stocks for the week.

It has become a practice to ask at the sales counter ,"Is the credit card accepted ?" and we got a prompt respond , yes it is accpeted.

We started to shop and once the billing was done over 2500+, we presented the credit card. on which the sales person informed chip cards are not accepted, we present a card without the chip card , that also was not accepted. we informed the manager he said the credit card swipe has just stoped working and we will have to pay in cash. this is a regular thing which happens , they would also advise that there is a ATM just outside the store we can withdraw from there and pay the bill.

These stores are taking people for granted and cause inconvenience, sort of harasment. people have to go there since there is no alternative . Reliance is the only store availble in Kadakpada.

if chips card or credit cards are not accepted.

Can anyone suggest how we as consumers should deal on such issues.

This is with regard to the food items stored in Reliane fresh located at No 1, Natesan Nagar, Kaliamman Koil Street, Virugambakkam, Chennai - 600092 .

I was exremely shocked to see that one entire shelf which had bakery products (bread varieties ) were spoilt . there were about 25 loaves of bread which were very very stale with green and white patches of fungi on the bread. I could not believe my eyes , the store manager had not removed stale bread from the shelves after the shelf life of products.

After i yelled for about half an hour for the Store Manager ( his name is S Balaji) came slowly but without any apologetic look or even a word of apology from his mouth for being so late

I cant imagine what a store manager would do other than take care of the stores and its products. Many diary products were also stale. for all the prices they charge, there is no Air condition or even a fan for the dungeon like stores. the local stores are much better than these so called super markets . they neither have the facility to cater to the customers nor are interested to earn their pay. they enjoy doing nothing at the expense of their bosses who never visit such stores.

can someone look into this before the supermarkets/stores make the people their guinea pig for earning money?

if this condition persists in Reliance fresh

I am a regular customer of reliance fresh. I with my family regularly visit reliance fresh in Ranchi (Bahu Bazar, Morabadi, Lalpur). Today on 26 Sep 2012 I with my friend and family went to Kanke Road Ranchi reliance fresh at 1945 hrs. At the billing counter staff misbehaved with me and my family. I reported this matter to Asst Sales Manager Mr Pankaj Kumar Singh who stated that go and complaint anyone and anywhere. Then after security incharge came. The matter was informed to him. He many times went to Mr Pankaj but he refuses to come. We came back without purchasing. This type of behavior from staff of reliance fresh is unacceptable. I and my family have started thinking of alternative to reliance fresh as we are not going to reliance fresh in future. Also my friend have suggested to file a complaint in police about this and to disclose this matter to mass media but I myself is not going to take any step till 28 Sep 2012 and wait for the reliance fresh action. Then any action will be taken.

I purchased from Reliance Fresh Store House No 24 , Shiv Mandir Road Opp Bala Sati Mata Govt Hosp Jodhpur Shakti Bhog Premium Gold Basmati Rice Lot No DEA-10512 Packed on 05/05/2012 on 24th Sep 2012 vide cash memo number C 1004 #0109 . On opening the packet it was full of black insects . This is something I do not expect from Reliance Fresh store or Shakti Bhog an ISO 9001:2008 & HACCP certified company.

My son 15 year old went to buy some product at Reliance Fresh situated at Indore (South Tukoganj). He did not found required product so he was about to leave shop. But he was caught at exit door and searched thoroughly shirts/Trouser. He feel very bad but allowed. After feed back i called back to reliance for justification but no answer. It happened again on 5 days back. And as always nothing was found in his all pockets Then i went straight to shop on 23rd Sep and meet Mr Mukesh a junior officer. And i was shocked to know the guideline from his superior.
1) Reliance believe that those young customer are thieve and 90% chocolate are taken by them.
We like many other parents are depend on our children for purchasing daily usage things from nearby shop preferably Reliance Fresh. These youngsters belong to very good family back ground more then Reliance own staff. One question to Reliance
1) On what value you are working on. I have never experience such behavior in India and abroad.
2) How much self respect is hurt of those youngsters
3) How will you check girls with male guard , if you have this policy , since girls are more fond of chocolate then boys.
4) Here i want to give message to even Mr Mukesh Ambani that Reliance has just opposite image then TATA , if you do not care to young generation then you must know where are you going

I am working in one of the leading MNC and I like to bring your kind notice that reputed organization like Reliance Fresh is surprising to find that there is worthless and non-cooperative attending staff in your Store at Madipakkam, Chennai (Tamil Nadu). When I was in search of many items and there was neither supervisory staff nor the sales boys to cleaner my query. I reached a girl who is billing for the products (that I was in search an item can you help me in finding it) she just told me to search somewhere in the first row in the store, when I search there I couldn’t find that item, when I return to her ask it again, her answer useless.

I found an item which was below the "Offer Tagged Sheet", and when I preferred it and took it to the counter, the girl in the billing counter told me that, the item was not under that category (but can you please answer to my question, Is this the way to arrange items in a departmental store making confusions and insult to a customer). And some arrangements give a similarity of a waste in dustbins.

After billing my items in the counter when I came to the security section and ask for a compliant note book, that boy pretended as tough he don’t know Tamil/English and asked me to go and get it from the girl who is billing the items, when I ask that girl she asked me to go to security place and get it (and do answer me for this question, Is this the way to make a customer roam like this, who is volunteering to write in your feedback book). I was just roaming in the store in search of the complaint book. Further there was no supervisory staff and the sales boys where not even bothered to help anyone in purchases for which they have come. I hope proper and needy solution to this will be taken by the concerned person and please do answer me to my questions.

1. Why there are no proper planogram arrangements (arrangements of items in shelf) in Store? (Wherever you find a place, you should not insert items and there is a way to arrange it).
2. Why there is no supervisory staff in your Store?
3. Why there is no board mentioning the departments on the ceiling (like food items, crockery items, etc.)?
4. If you miss to hang a board also, then why don’t the sales girls/boys in store don’t know what/where items are there in the store?
5. In a Reliance Fresh which is one of the Big Departmetal Stores in a city, why there is no proper air circulation (it was sweating inside your store - you must had switched on your Air Conditioner nor placed lot of ventilations) ?

From reliance fresh , I have purchased a Amul kool Lasse on 12/9/2012 at 20:59:18 from #0391 , S02122 R003 which was Manufactured on 16/5/2012, Batch No. L3 SAP/1371 05:11:57. After Purchasing the Item I found they have the habbit of selling old stock item like Nestle Cerelac, Kellogs.I request them to not to sell these old stocks.
Please take action in this matter to safeguard our people before occuring any tragedy.

A few months ago there were 3 to 4 outlets selling fresh fruits and vegetables in Khanda Colony. The first one was Foodland which closed down 5 years back. Then there was More and Spinach which closed down last year. Then came Sahakari Bhandar which was doing very well and then closed down suddenly on 4th September 2011. The fruits and vegetables sold in these malls were at very cheap prices and very fresh and of good quality. This was due to the fact that these were procured directly from the farmers. But now since the last one year, the residents are forced to purchase from the retailers who charge a ransom for the vegetables and fruits. They fear no one and there are no CIDCO vans doing the rounds to curb this practice of illegal prices.

It is a humble request to Sahakari Bhandar or any other mall to kindly reopen the outlet exclusively for fruits and vegetables.The prices at DMart for vegetables are very high as sold by AP Mani and have to be reduced. The authorities are requested to conduct raids and trigger a reduction in the prices of fruits and vegetables

I had purchased items from reliance fresh Linited, Sangath Mall, Opposite Degree Engineering Collague, Sabarmati, Gandhinagar Highway Ahmedabad Gujarat on 16Th July 2012 for Rs. 567.93. My Credit card of ICICI was swiped but was informed that it is not working so I paid the amount in cash. Later when I received the statement of my credit card I found that the amount had been debited from my account and credited to M/s Reliance Fresh Ltd.
Subsequently I approached the Reliance fresh outlet and lodged my complaint which was acknowledged by them and forwarded in there system against complaint no [protected]. They had assured that the amount will be refunded back in 10 days but even after 1 month my amount has not been returned back.
Kindly help me in resolving the issue.

I had brought 4 litre milk from Reliance Fresh store,Peeragarhi and chhach was free with purchase of every one litre milk but they charged extra rupees for it.When I contacted in the sore on same day they said we will adjust the amount.
When I went there next day the manager refused to adjust the bill.I also lodge a complaint in complaint book at page no.59 on 17/AUG/2012.Kindly look into the matter.

Today i along with my family went to reliance fresh Store located near our home and we have seen some news papers advertisement for some products and we also confirm the smae at the store also but when we bought the two items we find that the prise in bill is differeant from what it has been displayed after we approched the store incharge at that time one Mr.Davesh Tripathi [protected] and he denied that the prise is same what it has been displyed and even refused to remove the prise tage and he also refuse to take back the items since it has been billed and tell us that he will not do anything and if we are unsatisfied that not to come back in the store. if this the attitute of the reliance we can think how this will do . at one hand it is giving big big ads in news papers that it has a prise challance and on the other hand this is the attitute of their employees. i request that although i also want to make complain to company management but dont get to whome we can contact.

An Advertisement was released in Delhi times on 10 August by Reliance Fresh offering great deals and discounts. One of them was [protected]@Rs 39. On visiting the store I found out that most of the stuff mentioned in the advertisement was "out of stock" at 9 in the morning. I visited 2 stores in my locality. It was just a ruse by the company to attract customers. Reliance fresh is just crap.

I am S.Ashok Kumar.My contact number is[protected].My card number is [protected].Yesterday I had purchased many grocery items from reliance fresh(213-A,B,C,Kamaraj Salai,Madurai-625009).The officials there said that they would deliver at home on yesterday evening[protected] and I insisted them that it was urgent.Still today I had not got those items and if we call to the number on the bill[protected] there is no response and today we had to get all those grocery items again in the locality.I request higher officials to look into this and do the necessary.

the assistant store manager mr pawan in alliance with the store guard mr anil kumar singh and cashier mr lalit closes the store before the scheduled closure time of the store i.e. 9.30 pm as a matter of routine. today i, alongwith my wife reached the store at 9.16 pm and to my utter shock the store was flosed the shutter was down. on my enquiry with the guard on duty mr anil singh, he rudely replied that already the time was beyond 9.30 pm . in the mean time cashier mr lalit standing beside alleged that i had tampered with my watch timing and was showing wrong time. on my insistence mr pawan the asst store manager on duty was summoned who much more rude in his behaviour. he not only insulted me and my wife but also claimed nothing will happen to them even if i complained to anywhere. however, on my lot of persuation i was allowed entry to the store for shopping. to my further shock, the time on the bill no.0128 generated by the cashier with id c3456 showed time as 21.28.15. which was contrary to the claim of the asst store manager mr pawan that they closed the store as per the system watch.
this kind of arrogant misbehave by the staff goes miles in tarnishing the image of the store as well as that of RELIANCE.

i want that appropriate disciplinary action must be taken against the above mentioned erring staff who not only derelicted from their lawful duty butalso damaged the dignity of the responsible and respectable citizens of the country.

it is really surprising that reliance fresh has not thought of opening a branch of reliance fresh in Madhapur area, which is a majo IT hub in hydeabad. there was one in kondapur which is about 4 to 5 kms from Madhapur, but still Reliance fans like me used to visit the store overlooking the distance, but it's almost 3-4 months since the Kondapur store got burnt becase of short circuit and people like me are effeccted to thr maximum.

There is only one Ratna super bazar in Madhapur area and inspite of his sky rocketing rates of vegetables and fruits his is flourishing , bcoz there is no other choice to people living in Madhapur.

Since the past one and half year I am trying to convey to the Reliance Fresh stores the idea of opening a branch in Madhapur, but am not knowing how?
