This is regarding the customer service that is provided by a Assistant Manager in Reliance Fresh store at West Marredpally Secunderabad. The name of the Asst. Manager is Prem Kumar and employee id : 60018716.
When my debit card was swiped, the telephone line was busy and the status that came up was to try after 2 minutes. The customer service personnel told that he can try after some time. Since I had come with my two small kids, I opted to pay by cash. When I gave the cash, he asked me to come in the queue again.
The manager was also insisting that it was my problem and that my card was declined. He refused to accept that it was because of the problem with the line. He argued and was not at all friendly in asking that to me. It was the worst customer service that I ever had. Also, I will never go back to Reliance Fresh ever again.
I request the Reliance Fresh management to fire that person so that it sends proper message to all the staff members there to know that the customers are important.

    My Self Sanjay Nath Singh, I have Visit store Dt 30-may-2011 at 7:00 pm, and made purchases of Rs.2382 of 74 items, At bill department I have asked for carry bag or Box ready to pay extra charge for bag but he did not given any response to me and He says take bag or box from Security Guard. Just explain how could be 74 items person be carry and you are not providing any person so that he can put these items to car what is this?
    This is not proper Salesman ship.

      Myself a customer of this store found many disputes in staff selection for this store.
      SM - Ayan Chatterjee. Lacking of managing ability, Managing the staffs with slang languages.
      ASM - Debraj Das. Most inappropriate person for the post, without any technical or practical knowledge of any kind of work. (This person is be removed instantly for peaceful working atmosphere)
      CSA - Tarak Mukherjee. Second inappropriate person for official work. Customer Dealings Good.
      CSA - Chandan Mahto. roaming around without any work.

      Leaving the manager most of these male staffs found teasing their female staffs physically or mentally most often through out working hour. They even misbehaves with the lady customers.

      So, please do something to remove this persons from this store immediately. So It can be felt proud for the store.

          Dear Sir,

          We are residing in Chiragh Delhi, New Delhi. We are the regular visitor of Reliance Fresh Store at Savitri Nagar, Near Malviya Nagar, New Delhi On 10th May 2011 my husband visited Reliance store to buy refined oil and other household items. When he had purchased the goods and return back the guard misbeahved with my husband as dont put the basket on stairs and remove from there and he told him wait a moment I am managing the goods in my car. But he has not listened and misbehaved with my husband and when my husband asked for the manager the guard and sales person argued with im and told him to "YOU ARE A GOONDA and YOU HAD DRUNK". The all relianece staff and guards has not single pennie coutesy how to treat the customers.

          I want to take action like these peoples. Pl. save us like these peoples.

          Reliance Fresh Stores — misleading customers regarding offers

          I had purchased some items from reliance fresh on 2nd October 2008 from PANDAV NAGAR, near mother dairy, new delhi - 110092, There was a offer mentioned in all prominent places in the store stating " buy products worth 299 and get an discount of Rs. 10 on purchase of any RICE, DAL, ATTA".
          I had purchase more than Rs. 350 but i was denied of the offer .
          More over there was no systematic order in the work flow in the store . I was astonished to see that a brand like reliance is being operated in such a unorganised way.
          Buddy, nothing new the staff deploy are any store of reliance fresh are patahtic.They cannot speak proper hindi forget about english.The same has happend with me .I purchsed Head & Shoulder Shaampoo which has written Rs 20 off on MRP but I was denyed this.
          When asked they simpley said i[censored] wnat to buy it is OK or leave it.
          Pleaase report to Reliance. They will immediately remove the staff

          Respected sir/madam, on 27th May, 2011 at Reliance fresh, Thakur Complex, Kandivali east, an incident related to misbehavior of the staff member occurred . The staff members did not know how to behave or request to the customers. When customers are standing in the que the staff member (looks: tall height, big eyes - as i dont know his name) comes and keeps some other customers basket from other que and keeps in front of mine without asking my permission or requesting to allow her to check out first due to what ever problem. When asked to the staff person why did he do this, he said the machine was not working but after his act, he billed 3 customers, how did the machine work after her basket was kept in between of the other que? When this matter was taken to the manager "Aniket Thakkar" did not show any of his managerial skills as he was quite and did not bother to solve the problem instead he just left without saying a word to do his work. The staff member also did not have manners to talk, instead of admitting his mistake he was back answering with a rude and loud tone stating he could not see any customer standing in the que when there were 3 people. Yet, the manager did not utter a word. There was no one at the customer desk to help the customers, I had to roam the full market to search who is the manager. I am regular customer I did not experience any misbehavior act before. The changed staff seems to be arrogant. I request you to look in this matter so that customers are fairly.
          There ar some branch incharges of your outlets in Delhi, south, who acts of his own and never thinks of the customers, for whom they survive, should be made them to realize. This is the only way to earn reputation and cconsumer satisfaction. One should understand, we are paying the price for the items we purchase, its not F.O.C. Showing courtesy is the foremost for a sales person. Apart from this, extending help is also a part

            It is to bring to your kind attention that fraudulent activities are being carried at Reliance Retail “RELIANCE FRESH” located at Mohan Garden, Peepal Chowk, Uttam Nagar, and Delhi 110059

            Since the majority of the customers who comes to the store are females, the individual calls on their personal numbers & ask different illegitimate questions
            They take their number from the card filling form
            The don’t offer the promo gift of the product to the customers
            On asking about the gift on of the executive named RAKESH,HE torn his cloths to ready for a fight so we have to call the Police Control Room who has allowed us enter a complaint in your register, which no body read for months, He has called his local friends “GUNDAS” for a fight outside the Reliance Showroom as well

              dear sir,
              i have purchase food & bevarage items from reliance fresh indore vijaynagar of rs 650/-
              i have made payments by debit card. the reliance person has swept card two times
              and the payment deducted 2 wice time.
              when i object the reliance people told that the amount will come in your account automatically
              30 days passed away still i have not recived the amount.
              i think reliance are earning money by the customer by cheating to the customer like this and
              his staff are not giving resonse they are lingaring the matter

                It is my very bed experience in Reliance fresh, Beta-1 Greater noida. I Purchase goods worth 4300. When I ask them to pack it they refuse to do so but force me to purchase a beg. Apart from this they abuse me and says we do not provide any packing facility. unfortunately this all happens after billing and when I ask them to give my money back they say no it is not possible.

                If it is the behavior of Reliance fresh employees then I am sorry to say I will never visit Reliance fresh even i'll not recommend anyone to go there.

                Dear Concern,

                With reference to my visit at Reliance Fresh in Kalyan on 31.10.12
                I would like to bring to ur notice that one of the staff member in that store has misbehaved with me.That person named Nilesh handling cleaning as I was told, has intentionally misbehaved by pushing me thrice.
                I would also like to bring to your notice that when I asked about the Store Manager, I was told that he is not available at present he will be available only tomorrow after 11 a.m.

                This kind of behaviour is not expected from any staff member of such a Giant Institution having such huge reputation.

                I request you to take this matter for improvement of your service and take necessary action that such incidence is not repeated with any of your customers specially ladies.

                  I am a resident of Ghorpadi and on 30/04/2011 I had purchased various items from the Reliance Fresh outlet at BT Kawade Rd. At the time of payment I had handed over my HDFC Debit card to the assistant who after swiping the card thrice told me that the machine was not working and I should pay cash instead. Accordingly I paid the sum of Rs.386.50 and collected my items. On checking mail the next day I was surprised to find an e mail alert from my Bankers (HDFC) informing me that the sum of Rs.386.50 has been debited to my Account. The next day I went across and met the Supervisor on duty, Mr. Harish and explained to him about the double payment and accordingly handed over the Cash Memo – Retail Invoice along with a copy of the e mail alert. I was advised to produce a copy of my Bank statement which I did on 4/5/2011 when I was assured that the refund would be made within 24 hours. This morning (6/5/2011 @ 1200 noon), I met Vikas Huddekar who has rudely informed me that the refund can only be made after 45 days. Reliance is cheating the public and this is unacceptable and disgusting. It is time the extremely bad service from Reliance Fresh and the poor quality of products is highlighted in the media – T.M.MATHEWS - [protected]

                  this is regarding the relaince fresh store in fatehnagar area of ahmedabad there are no timings confirmed of the store opening in the morning though the board shows the time of 8 am. When ever u go in the store u never find the manager or some authority to solove u r complaint. u are told to call later and also when there are 3 cash counters u always see only 2 of them operating ever though there are long queues
                  I have my reliance fresh card but when i want to know how much points are there on the card no one is able to tell me and they tell me to come between 1 to 4 Now who in this fast time can spare time at their convinient time
                  so what i see that customer comes last when it comes to the service.
                  so my complaint is that Mr Mukesh Ambani or Mrs Neeta Ambani should see to this other wise its makes a very bad impression
                  I feel so bad to see this as a shareholder of all the reliance companies right from the beginning
                  Sir, I am your regular customer ast thiruvanmiyur. Today I had gone to purchase some fruits.When I was collecting some fruits I had already witnessing a person arguing with your Manager.I ignored since I was not interested. I was standing in the que for my turn to make the payment.The person tendered a token issued by his company for the commodities he had purchased. To my surprise I noticed he was given back a balance of Rs.25 in cash which your employee is not supposed to do.When my turn came I paid Rs.500 currency note for the purchase I made for Rs.142.52.At the cash counter your employee had asked me to give Rs.3/= so that she can give me back Rs. 360/=. I told your perso who was at the counter that I do not have change and suggested to get some changes from Reserve Bank of India. This is not the first time and such incidences had happened several occasions.But your Floor Manager told me that he is getting small coins for commission.I only request you to correct such things. Your employee at the cash counter, I think should be councelled for better behaviour.I almost go there every alternate day.                   The Reliance Fresh Store on Dhole Patil Road in Pune offers a very bad customer service. The salemen/saleswomen are very lethargic, untrained and they are not concerned about the customer waiting time. Myself and my friend went there during luch hour and purchased some fruits and cheese. Still the cashiers were not open, and two of them had an issue that they cannot accept debit cards. My friend finally dropped the idea of buying those fruits and left them. Unfortunately, I had handed the saleswomen 500 Rupees note and therefore could not let go of my stuff, till she brought me the money back. There was no change with the saleswoman and she came after 10 minutes with some change. Finally I got my change back and we vowed never to visit this store again.
                  I would like to request the Reliance Fresh Management to either change the current salespersonnel or train them well on handling a efficient store like this.
                  There is a "Reliance Fresh" store in "Pandav Nagar" near "D Park" where I saw some drinking beverages (which are imported) were expired.

                  And nobody was there to which I could complain. When I asked for the Manager, he came and showed me a brand new Complaint book (which you can simply purchase from any stationary shop) in which nothing was truly mentioned like store code, company name etc.

                  When I asked the manager "Mr. Ashwini Kumar" about the Store code, he started talking rudely with me.

                  I have purchased 3 bags of items for Rs.1146.62 from:RELIANCE FRESH LIMITED, E.A.K COMPLEX, KOTTIYAM, KOLLAM, KERALA, 691571 ON 8/04/11.My card no. is [protected].They gave me only two bags and i found this only after reaching home.I have contacted them and they asked to hold on, but disconnected. I called again and asked for the manager.The manager didnt even care to say a sorry for their carelessness. His response was realy provoking.This is not what a customer expect from reliance fresh ltd.I hope that the authorities will take severe measures against this misbehavior so that it will not be repeated to any other customers.

And there are lot of items for sale but i[censored] took and when we pay they will say item is not found. then why these products are displayed on showcase.                       It is been observed that,now a days there is no fresh vegetables available in the store.And so many customers are returning without buying anything.All the vegetable & fruits available are not fresh at all.eventhough everyday vegetables are supplied it is not put on display.ON observing especially afternoonhours and closing time these products are sold to local merchants with the convenience of staff & security.Employees are more interest in selling products like this since they get monetary benefits from merchants.
                      we used buy our monthly needs from reliance,now a days no fresh products are available we go to other super markets.this is the case with our friends & relatives when we talk to them.
                      I had a similar experience at Reliance fresh, University Gwalior, the fresh vegetables and fruits are being sold to hoteliers and the customers are made to wait on the pretext of system problem.
                      Similarly, discounted items have been charged at full rate and if you question the charge they say there is a system problem. When we tried to return the material they said we have to buy something else of similar price.

                      Due to the above mismanagement, no doubt the stores are not doing well.

                        Dear Sir,

                        We regularly visit the Reliance fresh outlet at Pattom, Trivandrum, Kerala.

                        One night, we were looking for a product for our son and it was urgent. We went to reliance fresh and the man at the counter said the product was available but cannot be given as the billing is closed. What was surprising is that we've been there and shopped at times after the particular time. Maybe the person at the counter had a bad day and wrapped up early. But it was disappointing to see staff throwing policies at customers.

                        We got the product at Big Bazaar and my wife took her decision on where to shop next!

                          I had a very bad and Illegal Experience in Reliance Fresh Store Today....

                          Store : Reliance Store, R V Desai Road, Vadodara
                          Time : 7.45 pm
                          Date : 1st May 2011

                          I tried to by a Amul 200 Gms Paneer Pack which had MFG date of 27th April 2011 and MRP of Rs 37/-. I took it to the billing counter and the the person tried to charge me Rs 38/- which is higher than the MRP. When I asked the question he was adement enough to say that we charge it this way only and if wish to buy I need to buy at the higher than MRP price. I left the sale as it is and said that I will not buy anything over the MRP.

                          I am extreemly disappointed by the behaviour from Reliance Fresh Brand as I cannot expect even a grocery store to sell any product over and above the MRP. For buying paneer from another store I had to take an Auto and Spend another 50 Bucks but I did so just not to buy the product over and above MRP.

                          I request Reliance to clarify the same and if they accept this as mistake I need My Rs 50 back which I had to spend because of reliance policies. Contact me back at [protected]@gmail.com or [protected].

                            This is to bring to your kind notice that Reliance Fresh employees have very bad behavior. Mr Manoj from Ansal Plaza Mall @ reliance fresh has demonstrated an excellent example of bad behaviors; He does not know how to talk with customer. He behaves as if he is Reliance Fresh, owner. Manoj wanted to close the store 30 mins before the schedule time without informing anybody. This part of Reliance Fresh bad behaviors and he argues that “Tu baut Mahan ho jo yaha shop karoge”. Later he showed, the paper on which 9:00 PM closing was mentioned but kept in guard pocket. He claim that Customer should read the store closing article from guard pockets. All this incident happened on 23-April-2011 at 9:02 PM.

                            I am a card member from 2006, however first I saw bad behavior by Reliance Fresh employee at sector 23, Gurgaon. That store always used to fight with customer as if the intent of their existence is to fight. Slowly that store got closed since people stopped visiting store. Only employees used to wait for customers.
                            I am also a shareholder in reliance industries and invested more that Rs 5 lac thinking that Reliance Industries is peoples company as visioned by Dhiru Bhai Ambani . I felt really bad looking at Manoj behavior as it paint black colour on his vision.
                            Rel Fresh, Ansal Plaza is one bad example of a store. They should a case study in management institutes. The sad part is no one listens to your complaint, no one responds.

                              I repeatedly had very bad shopping experience over there and nobody in the store could help me.

                              1) Almost every value in my bill has a lot of difference in display price and billing price. Nobody was able to help in this regard and gave me stupid excuses. This is pure cheating and very bad at any store part.

                              2) Above incident didn't happen once but experience the same problem multiple times.
                              3) We shopped for almost 1 hour and AC wasn't working. A huge suffocation.
                              4) Only 3 billing counters were working with lot of queues.

                              Also, they gave me a mailid [protected]@ril.in, which never worked.

                              Reliance Fresh — Disparity in display and billing price

                              Sir / Madam

                              I, a resident of Chennai, am a regular customer of Reliance Fresh. Of late I am shopping from the retail outlet at Thiruvanmiyur (near Mudureeshwar Temple).

                              It is often seen that discounted rates or special schemes that are displayed in the shop are not given to the customer during billing. For example, yesterday a scheme of Diet Pepsi 300ml - Buy 3 Get 1 free was displayed. However while billing, I was billed for all four. Similarly, few days back, Reliance Raw Rice 5 kgs was displayed with a discount of Rs. 25. However as usual, the discount was not given while billing. The instances are numerous. Every time, when brought to notice, the staff mostly says that the "Scheme got over yesterday" or "The system is not working properly".

                              Yesterday I decided to bring the matter to the notice of the shop's manager. He was not available in the shop so I asked the staff to connect me to him over phone. When I tried to explain to him (he gave his name as Mr. Lokanathan) that such a method was equivalent to cheating unsuspecting customers and would only bring ill-repute to the brand he simply told me to cancel my purchases. There was not even a simple apology tendered. Irritated by his high-handed behaviour, I told him that in such a case I had to complain against the shop to the higher ups in Reliance Fresh. To this he responded that I could complaint wherever I wanted he couldn't care less...

                              The shop did not have any proper Complaints book. A full-scape copy was provided to me to lodge my complaint in the last pages ... I am also not able to find any link to lodge my complaint online with Reliance Fresh.

                              I fully agree with Mr Mahajan's view that Reliance fresh was opened only for cheating purpose, I am a resident of Delhi, I visited today at Reliace Fresh, Chander Lok outlet in Pitampura, sugar loose was listed at Rs 36.50, when the billing was done it was Rs 37.50. Everytime I have to argue wit hthe staff for the same thing. For Rice they have put up Buy 1 Get 1 free, , at the time of billing counter salesman is telling that the scheme is over or it is not coming in their system.
                              This is basically a fraud what reliance is doing.
                              If by mistake I do not ask whether the item is under scheme or not, they will bill the same and at the time of payment if I tell them I dont need it now, then they are not even ready to help, they would say it cannot be cancelled as they become answerable, why the bill was cancelled.

                              It is a pure case of cheating

                              Product amount is more than market rate

                              Now I have purchased some bikaji product from reliance fresh ajmer branch today morning.but after that I compare the price with market. Reliance fresh price is much costly with market. Bikaji product that is available in market in 70 rs. But in your reliance fresh it cost 94 rs..please tell me why so much price difference is there.

                                Dear Sir / Madam,

                                We are residing at Kalyani Nagar , Pune and have been shopping at the Reliance Fresh Branch very regularly.
                                What has transpired with us at your Branch has been disturbing, alarming and completely unpleasant.
                                I would like to inform you in a few words the experience that we have undergone.

                                On Sunday April 17th we shopped for value of about Rs.1000.00 only for purposes of donating to a orphanage.
                                There was a scheme which mentioned that on a billing of Rs.399.00, one could avail of kwality wall icecream worth 140 for Rs.99.00.
                                We bought two packs. As we were travelling to the orphanage, we requested the staff if we could collect the items later on.
                                The billing staff confered with the floor manager and confirmed the same. I had in the meanwhile also checked on the points accumulated on my card.
                                Since there were a few heavy packages we were told that some staff would help us. However there was reluctance from the staff and all the heavy packages were carried by my husband. The staff chose to pick the lighter biscuit packages after inquiring where the vehicle was parked. The bill collected mentioned " Ice cream pending". We had already paid for the icecream in our bill.

                                Today, April 19th, we went with the bill to the same outlet. There was no cooperation. We had to request the staff to man the billing counter. On presenting the bill and the iceream packages., There was a flurry of confusion. Nobody had a cluue. They asked us why we did not get the bill signed from the staff on that day. We were made to wait for about half an hour while there were calls being made. The floor manager and the staff who had attended us were not responding to their mobile phones.

                                We had had enough and decided to walk out with the package. We were stopped and then told it is okay since you are on camera. I admit we were completely at wits end by now and had to tell the staff in a stern voice. At this point, one young staff actually came towards us and gesticulated and raised his arm and told us that "I Will Hit you ". This was told to us a number of times. We decided to call the police and i drove to the nearest police station while my husband waited at your outlet.

                                We decided not to take the matter further with the police only because we did not wish to take this disgusting event any further and there was a strong indication that the staff might loose their jobs and their families might suffer on the account of our 200.00 worth of icecream !!

                                There was not even a apology from any of the staff during this entire episode.
                                We were disgusted with the behaviour and in general the apathy, the disrespect and non caring attitude of RELIANCE FRESH.
                                We have torn the bill and given it to the staff and left the icecream packages at the security itself.

                                This was definitely our last entry to anything to do with Reliance Stores.
                                Only to inform you, we are regular customers to Vision Express ( Kharadi ), and also recently shopped at your store in Gurgaon.

                                Our sincere prayer that customers get better treatment and are not threatened at your businesses. We have already sent a mail with regards to the same at [protected]@rediffmail.com

                                  I have visited to reliance fresh at kalyan city, state maharashtra. the staff of reliance fresh has done arrgument with me, so i am informing u reliane that i am not a just a normal preson i am crime branch member, so i am telling u. Pls take action on it otherwise if anything happen the reliance will be responsible.
                                  And the main person was who was doing arrgument with me is the store manager of the store.                                   Reliance Fresh — Miss or Cheap Behaviour

                                    I AM RESIDENT OF DHARWAD , KARNATAKA , INDIA .I AM A REGULAR VISITOR OF RELIANCE FRESH STORE.TODAY I PURCHASED THE ITEMS IN RELIACE FRESH STORE. AND THE BILL WAS RS.251.29 .AND I GAVE ICICI ATM CARD TO MAKE PAYMENT. AND THE CASHIER WAS STRUGLING TO SWIPE HE WENT TO 2-3 SWIPE MACHINES . AND AT LAST HE GAVE THE BILLL AND RECEIPT OF THE SWIPED AMOUNT.THEN I GOT TWO SMS FOR THE AMOUNT RS.251.29 AND THE AMOUNT HAD BEEN DEBITED TWISE. THEN I WENT TO ICICI ATM AND GOT CONFIRMED THAT THE AMOUNT WAS DEBITED TWICE.THEN I WENT TO RELIANCE FRESH AND TALKED TO THE MANGER ( MR. SATISH) AND CASHIER .BUT THEY WERE GIVNG SOME SILLY RESONS LIKE THE MACHINE WAS NOT WORKING PROPERLY...ETC. AND HE HAS TAKEN ONE DAY TIME TO GET THE DETAILS OF THE BILL FROM THE HEAD OFFICE( MUMBAI) .I AM WAITING FOR HIS ANSWER. I DONT UNDER STAND WHY THEY HAVE KEPT THE SWIPING MACHINE IF ITS NOT WORKING PROPERLY AND PLAYING WITH PEOPLES MONEY.                                     Reliance Fresh — debit card - Multiple swipe for single bill

                                    I am a regular customer for Reliance fresh in my area Akash Nagar,

                                    As usual I went for shopping on last month, in the billing counter I gave my debit card for swipe for my bill.

                                    but the billing operator made a multiple time of swipes using my debit card.

                                    so my amount is debited from my bank account.

                                    till next month statement comes I was not aware of this issue.

                                    Past one month the shop manager or reliance fresh people didnt informed this for me.

                                    Pease be careful when you give your card for swipe
                                    always better to watch them carefully.

                                        I had purchases worth Rs.1,197/- on 8 April 2011 from Reliance Fresh Store on TC Palya Main Road, Bangalore. On 15 April 2011, when I checked my bank statement, I realised I had been double-billed and this amount was debited twice from my bank account. I went to the said store with photocopies of my bank statement and the original bill for the said purchases. I was told by the manager that it would take a maximum of three days for them to check with their bank and resolve the issue by reimbursing me the excess charge. However, I have been to the store twice and spoken to them on the phone once only to be fobbed off with lame excuses. I was told today that I would have to wait at least 15 days for them to be able to resolve this. This is fraudulent practise to say the least and a matter that I need resolved immediately.
                                        I look forward to an early intervention and resolution to this issue.
