Reliance General Insurance — NCB issue and response on communication | |||
I went with reliance motor insurance vide policy no [protected] in Dec 2015. Payment of policy premium was made online. Then on 28/01/2016 I have received the recovery letter from Reliance General Insurance regarding the recovery of the NCB amount of Rs.1106 saying that the NCB provided by the previous insurer was 35% and reliance have provided me with 45%. Can I please know where this NCB have been entered by me during registration. Is it my fault? I have read about the NCB calculation on your portal and it clearly states that the NCB is calculated as per the age of the vehicle. And the age of my vehicle is 3 years. So according to this the NCB must be 35%. From where do this 45% came in my policy. I am really disappointed of how the calculation was done online despite I clearly filled the details of my vehicle. Please check the calculation before issuing any policies. I have not faced such issues before for my previous policies. I have not entered any NCB from my side and the calculation has been done online itself. I have written so many emails to reliance regarding the same on their email id rgicl.[protected]@relianceada.com. But i have not received any concrete answer from them and just receive the system generated emails. If reliance is not accepting their fault then please return my money back so that i can go for some other insurer. Was this information helpful? | |||
