Subject: Complaint Against Reliance Jio for Delay in Mobile Number Portability and Financial Loss
Complaint Details:
I would like to file a complaint against Reliance Jio regarding an unresolved mobile number portability (MNP) request and the lack of response from their customer support.
I submitted a port request to transfer my mobile number ([protected]) from Vi to Jio on 20th March 2026 with a ₹299 prepaid plan. The Order ID for the same is NO00015C8BMP.
However, even after several days, I have not received the Jio SIM card, nor has anyone from Jio contacted me regarding the status of my request. Due to this delay, my existing Vi plan expired, forcing me to recharge again with ₹199 to keep my number active. This additional expense was unnecessary and caused solely due to Jio’s service failure.
I have already raised a complaint with Jio customer care, but no action has been taken so far. I also requested cancellation of the port request, but I was informed that cancellation is not possible, which is unacceptable given that the delay is entirely from their side.
Relief Sought:
1. Immediate cancellation of my port request.
2. Refund or compensation of ₹299 (Jio plan amount).
3. Proper explanation for the delay and lack of service.
This negligence and lack of response from Reliance Jio has caused inconvenience, financial loss, and mental stress. I request the concerned authority to take necessary action and ensure a prompt resolution.
