Reliance Jio Infocomm — fraudulent submission of otp for hdbfs by jio employee | |||
My data has been revealed to another company (Hdbfs) by a jio employee without my permission. Recently i lost my jio sim card, so for replacement i went to my nearest jio store on sunday (10th nov 2019) evening. I verified my identity and got a jio sim card. It did not activate. So i went to the same store today (12th nov 2019) and there was a gentleman and a lady who i talked to. They checked the status and said my sim card verification failed. So, i went said to verify my sim card again. The gentleman asked the otp which came to my alternate/recovery number which was at my home address. I contacted my home with their phone and got the otp. I told him the otp and got my sim card verified. The message that reached my alternate/recovery number was- Message sender: jx-jionet — Authentication code is 125837 for processing your order number co00004hi2xy. This is valid for next 30 minutes only. Please verify the details filled in form before sharing otp. Please share code only with jio store executive to process your request. Thank you, team jio — The lady was standing next to the gentleman most of the time. She saw my alternate/recovery number from jio database during verification and entered it in an app in the tablet she was holding without showing me. I was again asked for an otp again. I contacted home again and told them the otp. I asked them why they needed otp this time and they said: "it was for the data they have to give to jio about the customers who came to the store." I got my sim card and went to my apartment. Later when i contacted home, i got to know what the second message was - Message sender: vk-hdbfsl — 17194 is the otp to allow hdbfs to check email, bureau, mobile network operator, whatsapp communication and alternates to process the application. — After reading the message i went back to the store and showed them the message. I told them why didn't they ask for my permission before giving my complete data to hdbfs. They could not give me the reason why they gave my data to hdbfs. I have attached an audio clip of my conversation with other gentleman at the same store when i went back. This time the lady was sitting behind this other gentleman and the man i talked to last time was not in the store. I told them "the company hdbfs is known company, that is why i am not losing my mind. But i havn't gave you (Jio employee) my conscent to give my data to hdbfs". I still not have given permission to give my data to some other company. Jio is accountable for the actions of their employee. Considering these facts i am looking forward to solution of my problem through these ways: 1. For any misuse of my data by hdbfs (Or any other entity who got it from hdbfs) jio will be responsible as mentioned before jio was responsible for the loss of my data.. 2. Data is a valuable asset and nowadays is traded financial across the world. I demand compentation from jio for the loss of my valuable asset (My data) by their employee without my conscent. Internet speed of jio telecom is too much slow. if tried to call from my jio number but they cant pic the call about 30 minutes.this problem is about one month before started so please solve my issue.
