I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding an unresolved defect in my LG refrigerator, purchased on 09/04/2024, and the extremely unsatisfactory service experience I have faced with Reliance Digital’s authorized technicians. I request your urgent intervention, as the matter remains unresolved despite multiple attempts from my side.
Recently, a series of dents began appearing spontaneously on the bottom side of the refrigerator door, and their number has been gradually increasing. To address this issue, I raised a complaint with LG India on 13 November 2025.

During the inspection, the LG technician acknowledged that the dents could be a rare product defect potentially caused by air leakage. He clearly informed me that because the product was purchased through Reliance Digital, the warranty claim must be initiated by them. Only after Reliance Digital raises the case would LG India be able to proceed with the repair or replacement.
Following this guidance, I contacted Reliance Digital and raised a service request on 19 November 2025.

Unfortunately, the service provided by Reliance Digital was highly unprofessional and deeply frustrating. The technician arrived with a dismissive attitude, immediately blamed the damage on “children” without conducting any proper inspection, and only later contradicted his own statement by claiming there was “no leakage and no issue.” I then reached out to Reliance Digital customer care, explained the situation, and requested to speak with a manager to expedite the process. However, the customer support representative closed the case without my consent and without providing any resolution.
After noticing that the case was closed without my approval, I raised a new request [mentioned above] with Reliance Digital. While they acknowledged the issue this time, no further action has been taken, leaving me with no support and no clarity on the next steps.
At this point, I am extremely disappointed and mentally exhausted by the lack of accountability from Reliance Digital and the unnecessary hurdles placed before me despite the product being under warranty.
I therefore strongly request the Consumer Forum’s intervention in ensuring that Reliance Digital coordinates with the LG India service team and arranges the appropriate resolution without further delay. I also insist that my complaint remain open until the issue is fully resolved to my complete satisfaction.
Given the significant inconvenience and frustration this ongoing situation has caused, I urgently seek your assistance in securing a clear, timely, and effective path toward resolution.
