[Resolved] Rentomojo — Not refunding my deposit of 600rs | |||
I placed an order for work chair for a period of 6 months. The cost was 299 per month and the security deposit i had to pay was 600rs to complete the order. On making the payment i realised i have to share my personal IDs (PAN card, Aadhar card, etc)for verification. Im not comfortable sharing those details for a menial order as this one. I tried contacting their customer support on chat multiple times and even over phone but no one responds or provides a resolution or even gives a call back. I need the refund for the deposit of 600 rs i had paid initially and cancel the order. Ive tried reaching out to the customer support many times but all i can hear is the the agents are busy, even opting for a call back hasnt helped. I feel scammed and cheated and I want my refund. Their order process involves making the payment first and post which they ask for the verification which is wrong as many people like me are not comfortable sharing those details. Therefore I'm filing this complaint so that proper action be taken against them and the company gets fined for it. Going through the customer grievences' I realised there are many customers who are facing the same issue and the company has not refunded their deposit.
