I have relocated from navi mumbai to goregaon (Mumbai). It was expected that rentomojo will take care of relocating things we have taken on rent from it.
I have taken washing machine & refrigerator on rent. We raised request for relocation on 30th may for relocation washing machine & fridge to relocate on 5th may. They said we will get a call and phone number of delivery guy, 1 day before.
'only after getting confirmation from rentomojo, we booked packers & movers 2 days (3rd may) before the actual relocation day (5th may).
We didn't get a call entire day but in evening on 4th may (Relocation day was 5th may saturday). Guy on call said he won't be able to make it before 2 pm. He didn’t come on the entire day on which we requested or the next day or even on the next day not even today.
There was some gap in the team members, customer care were assuring us that it will be delivered late night and delivering guy said he cannot as he has other orders too to deliver, he will make it on next day i. E 6th may (Sunday).
Then customer care said that deliver guy told them that we are asking him to deliver it on monday (7may). On denying, they again confirmed that it will be delivered to us but late night. We were fine!
Again delivery guy called saying he cannot send it today and as next day is sunday so he will make it on monday (7 may).
We were fine with that even, as i wanted my things urgently and we already shifted and actually tired. On our risk we left our things at the old place, requested our old owner to allow rentomojo to pick our things (In our absence).
We happily shifted to new place but rentomojo has still not arrived with my stuffs. I can still ignore ‘washing machine’ but we don’t have refrigerator to store food / water/ice.
Please note we are paying rent for which we don’t have right now and also don’t know where it is.

    Rentomojo supplies very poor quality furniture and they charge a high rental amount.
    I have, so far, complained more than 10 times in 1 year for several furnitures I received from them.
    2 chairs have broke all of a sudden and I fell down injuring my back. My body weight is only 75kgs. I wonder how they are duping the customers by claiming their furniture is of a premium quality.
    What's worse is their customer service, who do not acknowledge complaints and only waste your time over and over again.
    I will post pictures of the poor furniture I received from Rentomojo.

      At the time of making payment to take activa on rent i confirmed n number of times about the delivery from the company they confirmed delivery with in two days after that they said delivery with in three days and now again they are increasing the date.
      Even they do not bother to inform me i called up repeated times and chat so many times after that i got this answer.

        Hi.
        I ordered a few furniture set. I paid the deposit amount. Now, i got a call from rentomojo, who is saying that they will not deliver product, since i am staying in pg. I have even submitted confirmation letter from hr of company, where i work.
        They have mentioned no where in there site that they won't deliver in pg.
        Why are you not mentioning this in your website, your faq's? They are wasting our time and making excuses.

          Hi,
          I brought some furniture from rentomojo, pune. On delivery when i found that product was not at all upto mark so i returned it within 2 days.
          Now its been 4 months and still they have not returned my deposits.

          Their customer care always says, :sir we will be returning in 24 hours" an its 3+ months, still i do not received any refund amt.

          Beware before booking any furniture from rentomojo. Products are not worth taking on rent. Better to go for 2nd hand product purchase instead.

            I ordered there study essentials package 5 days ago online for one year and paid the complete deposit and one month rent. After that i submitted my documents that were asked for on the portal. After waiting for two days i give a call to them asking for status, then they ask for my office employee number and not my card so i wrote that too under my company name. Again i wait for a day and give them a call on second day and to my surprise i get to hear that they had asked for my id card. i asked them if my aadhar card, rental agreement, and pan card is not good enough to verify my credentials and atleast move the order forward then let me know how i can cancel my order. in reply he suggested that i write a mail to [protected]@rentomojo.com for cancellation. I still felt of moving forward so i uploaded my office id card and after few hours the status of my document changes to verified.Now from that day it was showing verified so i called them today "[protected]" about the delivery of my order, and to my amazement the girl said "Sir your order was cancelled two days back" .
            I asked her as to i did not recieve any mail or call or any kind of written thing regarding my order so she said you will get it.Im not sure now what to expect from rentomojo or team regarding the money that i have already given and about my documents that i uploaded. They have zero sense as to how to handle a customer and how to resolve the issues that are there within their company.
            Im now regretting my thought of renting furniture from rentomojo. "WORST EXPERIENCE EVER". Be careful when you order stuff from there site.

              I had ordered a 5x3 bed by mistakenly and wanted to book 5x6 bed. Upon delivery I noticed my error and called the rentomojo. And the executive told me send us an email we would replace the order and please pay us the diffence amount. So yes I did send a mail and paid extra. Post which it has been 1 month there has bhad no reply on emails which I have sent on follow up approx 10 emails sent. Don't know how many times I called. Called daily twice . No one seems to be bothered to call back and solve it. Icing on the cake they send me a mail on my mo they rent . Again I send a mail mo they rent for something I did not get???. And now they charge me payment due over charge. ... I made a mistake on even ordering from rentomojo. Will never suggest anyone to opt for.

                I ordered some furniture online and paid deposit. no response from them. after my follow up, they said to send rental agreement. my rental aggrement was 4 pages but they said they need a rental agreement of over 8-9 pages other wise cannot provide furniture. i explaind then that my company is a stat up company. then they said they need noc from my office owner. i arranged the same but after 4 days still no reply. after me calling again and again, they then said the noc needs a stamp. every time they come up with something or the other. after 2 months, i said i just want my refund back for which they said it will reflect into my account in 24 hours. its beend over a week and inspite of my reminders, nothings had been done.
                O to summarise my experience, i have called them a milliontime, they have my deposit but no one cares a damm...

                  I had rented a set of furniture from this company for a span of 6 months starting sep'15. for this they had charged me a refundable deposit of 7000 inr.
                  Post completion of the tenure - despite several attempts and trials to contact their customer care number - which is always reciprocated by a message saying - 'we will get back to you soon' and which never happens, i was unable to get them to pick up the furniture.in the meanwhile - i shifted places and had to pay transport cost for their furniture as they still did not pick up their stuff.
                  Finally - after 4 months of completion of the tenure - rentomojo finally sent people to pick up the stuff only after a zillion calls and trials. post pick up - after almost 2 weeks of no information regarding security deposit - after again a zillion automated messages from their side promising to get back - i received an email saying they will not refund the deposit - instead i have to pay extra for keeping their stuff.
                  Now, these fraudsters are forfeiting my deposit saying that i had kept their stuff for more than the decided tenure whereas it is basically them who did not pick it up.
                  This is basically a scheme to forfeit the deposit where the company does not let you contact them when you want the furniture to be picked up and continues to do so till the time the entire deposit can be forfeited.
                  Pack of cheats and fraudsters. i would rather want to sue them in the court of law to get through what is right.
                  Request a refund of the security deposit urgently.
                  I was about to receive an amount of 500 after returning the goods but have not received the refund even after multiple reminders

                    They are trying to cheat money from customers by charging them advance rentals and then deducting the last month's rent again from deposit money. One of the biggest hoax company in this country.

                    Customer service is so pathetic that even a leech is proud of itself when it faces rentomojo. My inr 4050 is pending with them and i have been harassed for this small amount so much with their service that i feel like putting a...

                    Hi,

                    I am waiting for more than 20 days now to get my refund amount credited to my account.
                    This is not the first time rentomojo has created a delay in responding and taking actions. I have had the worst customer service experience with them in the last 5-6 months after renting furniture with them.
                    Starting the cancellation of items, to picking up items from given address, to responding to emails, to changing amount figures in the final invoices every month to a greater amount, these guys have done every worst possible.
                    I have been calling them and reminding to pay me the balance amount, they keep putting me on hold for long only to come back and promise a call back - which I never receive. They tell me there is a technical issue, but I receive their newsletters on time.
                    While closing the account with them and returning all the rented items, I asked for a detailed calculated invoice, whereas I only received a payment link from them for Rs. 799. When I again asked for a detailed invoice, they took 5 days to reply, even then I had to call and remind them, talk on phone and chat on their online customer service simultaneously to get them to generate a final detailed calculated bill. Turned out that instead of me owing them money, they owed me Rs.2277. Since then I have not heard from them.
                    I have wasted hours of my time, money on calling them and being put on hold, patience and peace of mind.
                    Such a company should be barred from providing customer service when they can't handle a single issue of refunding an amount of 2277 rupees to the consumers account.
                    I hope necessary action will be taken against them.

                    I doubt weather Rentomojo is a Scam.
                    I have paid token money after that I was not able to upload documents.
                    After 10 follow ups they uploaded and said the documents are not valid.
                    When I initiated cancellation they took all token money and giving me 143 INR.

                    I have 100% dissatisfaction .
                    I took 5 items on rent for three months. The rent period expired on 5th oct and they took away the items. For refund, I was promised a direct transfer to my bank account within 10 working days. Even after constant reminders, they haven't refunded the amount. My customer ID is 17584.
