My AC was Uninstalled on Apr 9th 2024 and raised a closure request which was completed on May18th. But I am being charged for the entire month of April and May. I should ideally be charged only until April 9th. And they are not returning my money back now. They had themselves closed the April 9th ticket with no solution and opened a new ticket on May 3rd....

I rented the AC from rentomojo. They delivered it after 10 days and installed it after a week that too after continuous follow up from my side. The AC did not function soon after the testing from the first installation. they said they will send the technicians to repair. they sent one technician team after one week that too after continuous follow up from my side. The team said AC wont work. have to change entire installation. so i told to close my subscription. i dont want any service now and trake back the AC. so they unstalled it. But they have not picked up the AC neither they refunded any amount nor any follow up. today they sent me remimder for my due rent. the Ac has been lying here of no use since three weeks.

Did you get any resolution yet. I’m in the same boat. They have delivered the AC and installation is not done even after 1 week. Despite continuous follow ups with Customer support, I received no help.

Fake delivery promise

I placed my order 7-8 days back one was a chest of drawers and one wardrobe.
firstly they don't have a customer support contact number as I tried to call them 50 times and their number is out of service.
I was informed that the wardrobe was out of stock which still shows in stock on their website (they inform you once the payment and KYC are done)
There was a waiting period of 7 days for wardrobe delivery.
I got a call from RentoMojo on 17th July 2023 saying that the wardrobe is available and it can be scheduled for delivery as per my convenience.
today 15th July, 2023 I got a call from the delivery boy regarding sharing location and delivery timings.
I stayed home to receive the delivery.
around 4:00 pm ( 4 hours later than the promised delivery time and then he informed me that the product cannot be delivered as it is out of stock.
till now also it showed available on their website.
They don't have an inventory but it shows available on their website till now.
It is a huge disappointment and fraud they are doing after payment is done.

I've placed the order on Rentomojo for 2 beds, 2 mattresses and a sofa on 11th June and paid entire amount upfront. While placing the order items were shown as available in stock and ready to be delivered within 6 days.

Refusing to delete my data
Rentomojo recently leaked sensitive data including sensitive KYC data like Aadhaar and Passport data to hackers. I tried raising a data deletion request with them, which they have refused.
I would like to have all my data on the platform deleted, including all KYC data, phone number and email.

Financial Fraud

Rentomojo delivered an AC yesterday. I have paid an online deposit amount. They refuse to install the AC cause it's an undeground connection. I asked them if I can install it myself through a technician, they refused that. My flatmate ordered an AC from them and they allowed her to install it through a different technician as they dont install underground connections. But tehy are not allowing me to do the same.
They are asking menow to initiate closure and pay extra early closure charges. They have my deposit, are asking me to pay early closure charges when the AC is not even installed or unpacked. I just want my deposit back.

I had ordered for a rental wardrobe, bedside table and office chair on Rentomojo on 13 Apr 2023 with an ID - Rentomojo_prod-RMIMYUPTTY-1 and order ID[protected]. I paid 904 rupees which included its 1st month rent and deposit.
First, they asked for money to place the order, post which the order was supposed to be scheduled. It did not happen until the next day, when on 14 Apr 2023, I had to contact their customer service, that too, via chat. And then they scheduled the order for 17 Apr with Schedule ID- REQ-DEL-PNQ[protected].
I waited the whole day, contacted their customer service chat asking for the delivery partner's contact number to communicate, but got only disappointment. It's the end of the day, and I haven't received my order yet. When I checked online review on Rentomojo, my fear turned true - "Rentomojo is a big scam!"
When I went to the Rentomojo chatbot and asked to cancel my order, I got below steps:

- Log in to your RentoMojo account on our website or view here.
- Raise a request for cancellation under 'Requests' ’General queries’ ‘Order related’ ‘cancel order’.
- Choose 'Close subscription' and follow the instructions to cancel your request successfully.
When I logged in to Rentomojo via wesite b, I kept searching, but failed to find the option of "Requests" to proceed with canceling of the order. It seems, there's no way to cancel the order.
The delivery service and customer care service is pathetic, there's no calling support provided!

I have requested my AC service 12-15 days back and I got call from Rentomojo schedule executive that time. Schedule executive informed they will not come as per my availability. I thought ok lets manage from my side, hence I decided let them come as per their schedule/availability. Schedule executive confirmed (04/04/2023) their available time to come to my place. As per their time I rented the tall size ladder (as I am living in 2nd floor and need ladder to access outdoor unit) by 500 INR per day. But surprisingly service person not came as per their scheduled and after 4 days past I got call from scheduling executive name "Sid". And he started saying the insulting word like 'He is not ready to here my lecture' and many more.

No response for a closure and relocation service

Raised a request on March 30th for a closure of cot and mattress and relocation of AC. I clearly mentioned the present rental home tenure gets over by April 9th and just see the lethargy its April 10th and none even bothered to respond. Whatta ### service. Ul have to run behind them for any service except new service.. if this was new service they would have done it next minute.. it's been 10 days and every day email followups and still nothing.

Paid rent and deposit for bed and mattress but not received
I paid an amount of Rs 1047 to rentomojo as a deposit for getting a bed and mattress on rent. They displayed a message that delivery would be scheduled within a day. Nobody called from their side. I kept on calling their customer care but nobody responded. I have to shift to a new unfurnished flat on the date of scheduled delivery. I have to sleep on bare floor now. Even on cancellation of rent, they do not refund the amount. Kindly give me the bed and mattress. Regards, chandrima

Unsafe behaviour from staff and incompetent customer service

We rented an AC from them and they gave a defective remote control. We told them to bring a new remote control. Next day they sent a person with the remote to my home when i wasn't home. My mom was alone at home and he gave the remote to her. She was checking the AC when he walked inside without permission. She asked him to leave but he started roaming around the house. After multiple warnings he left. Since then Rentomojo customer service have been harassing me with calls when i complained. I think they want to hush up the issue. But i will report this everywhere and will take this up legally.

Unethical/unregulated billing practices
This Complaint is against Rentomojo. I have rented out a few products from them and one of the products is a mini fridge for a 12 months tenure starting February 2022, have had issues with the fridge earlier and barely used it as i bought a bigger fridge and now that i want to cancel and return the fridge 9 months off my tenure i am still being charged 3x as a early cancellation fee. However, as per the cancellation and return policy the charge for 12 months tenure on electronic and fitness products early cancellation is 1 month's rent. Tried talking to the support via chat but no resolution provided and rep who called definitely did not know his/her own company polices as he/she kept repeating its 3x charge for cancellation and no resolution provided again.
Resolution Expected: Do not charge more than what is being told, correct the bill and provide better customer service.

Team is INCAPABLE and Not Respnsive and literally HARRASSING Customers at all...

The team is taking so long to even respond to 1 issue. They are purposely delaying pickup of orders when the rental subscription is complete to overcharge and impose late fee charges.
They are literally giving same answers everytime I reach them on chat support(cause they dont have call support) their so called Logistics team which only has handful of drivers.. never follow any scheduled time or date.
And just call to say we cannot come for pickup.
And chat support people say.. Oh your number was not reachable.. when infact their driver called and cancelled.
They are really running a SCAM to HARRASS people.

Washing machine
I have not received any refund till now. I had ordered a washing machine and it came without an inlet pipe and I returned it and I still have not received my refund. There is not customer support number to contact these people. Horrible service.

Fake order and no response from company

had placed an order for certain appliances and furniture under order ID.[protected].
The order was placed on 02 Sep 22. The KYC was such a pathetic experience I I went through.
I just kept raising issues on chats with aganints for resolution but there was no use. Everyone just kept saying they will raise the level further. I guess the amount of times they have raised the level I should have gotten a call from the CEO.
Now that you agents have also stopped responding on chats also. proof of the same is as attached. Also details of the products ordered for rent are attached. I guess I am regretting the decision of choosing you guys over furlenco.
Last call I received I was promised that the product will be delivered in 24 hours which was two days back.
You are requested to go through the twitter Handel of Rentomojo and you would find multiple case with screenshot as proof of the same.
This is pure harassment, that's all. On top of this they have audacity to say this on chat box that I am given a fake feedback.

Order not being cancelled. No one responds to emails or chats
My order number is[protected]. For the last 1 week I have been writing to Rentomojo customer care team to cancel the order because they don’t have a TV with stand. No one responds to email. There is no number to call and chats are useless because no agent turns up. They are sitting with my money

Regarding my threadmill
Hello, I have ordered threadmil on Aug 8th and it was delivered in bad condition and led to short circuit, earthing due to bad motor condition and my grandmother who is 80yrs had severe affect due to short circuit and by god grace she was safe .
These worst people deliver products in such bad conditions, I sincerely request everyone please don’t ever place any products from this website
Post raising multiple complaints, multiple people visited to check product and replaced with new product, still we were not in the state to use replaced product because of bad experience happened to my grandmother so I had to cancel subscription but they have asked to make 5.5k for less than a month which is not yet all fair .
These worst people deliver products in such bad conditions, I sincerely request everyone please don’t ever place any products from this website

Booked an AC 1 ton , later decided. Cancel but no revert from the rentomojo
Booked an AC 1 ton on 4th sep. Informed on the chat support for cancellation they said it is canceled and you will get a confirmation within 24hours on email. However it has been 3 days since and there’s no update on my cancellation neither on the refund. Their chat support doesn’t work. No reply on emails. Have been sending them emails daily but no responses. You cannot reach their chat representative at this point of time. It is frustrating.

I placed the order for rented furniture on 22nd Aug and also closed my KYC verification. Its been 4 days that i have not received any call nor have got revert from Customer service on the delivery. The chat support is not working nor of the customer service numbers. Email reverts are not received
Even after repeated emails, I am still awaiting the revert. Please find the snapshots for your reference. Your customer service chat support is absolutely useless. I have a simple query which has not been addressed or reverted even after multiple emails. "When will i Get the delivery of the product ordered?". If you guys have many customers and feel that you can lose 1 customer which is fair, then please initiate my refund of deposit and I will be happy to look for another vendor to help me deliver the furniture.
I have also tried on [protected] however I would regretfully inform you that this number is out of service.
I would be happy to give my genuine feedback about Rentmojo so that the customers like me can go to Furlenco or Cityfly for their needs.

Product not Delivered
I have ordered a fridge, yet not delivered and it's been more than 10 days now. They have really tested my patience. They don't respond to emails and chat support takes 20min. to respond. They don't have any call support system. They haven't communicated once with me regarding the delivery. It's pathetic.

I have booked a dressing table furniture from Rentomojo on 1st August 2022, and the expected delivery was on 6th August 2022.
It's more than 25 days, and I have not yet received my delivery. I have been trying to contact them everyday through emails and customer support chat. They are not even answering. They do not carry customer support number, plus they are not refunding my amount.

I'm facing the same issue. They have really tested my patience. I ordered a fridge and till now it has not been delivered. They don't respond to emails and chat support takes 20min. to respond.
