Reserve Bank Of India [RBI] — Refund of money due to error in beneficiary name | |||||
Dear Manager of BOM Malad East branch, My account number is [protected]. On 17th April 2017 I had transferred 40000 rupees via NEFT to Easy braces Acct no[protected] savings Beneficiary Bank - ICICI bank LTD Kozhikode - kallai road ICIC0000603 The transfer was a success and here are the details. UTR No MAHBH[protected]. But there IcIcI bank refused to credit the money to Beneficiary saying that name written is wrong. The company's name is Dr Toms Laboratoray, easy brace and I had just written Easy brace as beneficiary name. ICICI bank has not refunded money in my account. Its over 45 days since I have emailed Bank of Maharashtra Malad east branch and Neft Cell. But till now I have not received any updates. Please advice me as to what to do.
