Royal Enfield — Quality Issues with Dream Bike (4 services within 3 months of purchase)

Dear Officials,

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the Quality issues of my Dream bike Signals(Marsh Grey)- RE Classic 350 Royal Enfield motorcycle.

I have booked my dream customed RE Bike on Oct 13 2024. delivered by November 1st 2023. Within three months of Riding i had to gave it for service 4 times due to the extreme Quality issues. The quality issues arises whenever i gave the bike for service in the RE showroom.

1. Soon after my First service, i was travelling in the city and bike stopped turning on in between the road while riding. No clue what went wrong, i used emergency Road assistance which took almost 5 hours then they figured out battery not charged and arranged Towing service. this then took more than 15 days in the showroom and found Wiring issues which they ended up changing the full Wiring of the vehicle.

2. Life danger issue : After the 2nd service with wiring, the bike was not running smooth. so i ended up giving the bike for 2nd service within 2000 KM of riding.(schedule was at 5000 km). After this service i was travelling during night on the road all of sudden Petrol hose started leaking and it was spreading the petrol all over the running engine. This happend just 100 km of ride from the 3rd service.. As this happened while riding Engine was hot and the petrol was leaking heavily over the engine which caused fire and smoke.. Luckily, people around helped me out by pouring sand all over the engine to escape from firing and waited for an hour to cool the engine and fixed the Petrol hose loose contact and reached my destination.

I have extreme disappointed from the service center where they unable to identify what went wrong with the bike.

Now, i am afraid to take this bike anywhere. Not a comfortable ride and always have the fear whether my bike wil reach the destination or not.

Thank you Royal Enfiled, for making a very very bad experience where i waited for long years to purchase this nonstandard bike.
