Hello team Royal Enfield,

I have bought thunderbird 350x in January 2019, now some days before while riding I found heavy leakage of petrol from a pipe in Lower area of engine, I suddenly visited nearby service center, they simply told into a cool way that "this is common problem in this bike you have to change your petrol tank" when I enquired more about it they replied that there is a metal pipe which is connected from lead of tank and it comes out from bottom left side for air, that pipe is broken, for that you have to change your tank which cost around 12, 000. Now Please tell me that when we are buying so much of expensive bike with trust and emotions, this is not expected from this brand, I am really disappointed. That situation may also converted into major accident if I ignored that time.

An early action is required from team.
PETROL TANK FUEL LEAKAGE

I was forced to send this message after seeing the very unprofessional behavior of Royal Enfiled service center (Bommsandara, Bengaluru, Karnataka).

I bought Royal Enfield Gun Metal grey bike in 2019. The vehicle's second service. I do all my service at Bommsandara service center.

During the second service itself, it was mentioned that I had problems with my bike suddenly getting off after 10 to 15 km while having long driving trips very frequently. The service person suggested that may be due to heat.I took that into consideration and started taking a break after every 50 km during driving.

But during January 2022, while on the ride, I started to get petrol smells. So I gave my bike for service on February 2022 itself.I mentioned the problem to Mr Swami ( Manager at Bommsandara service center).During the afternoon, I got a call from service engineer that my petrol tank is leaking so need to be replaced and they made a video of tank leaking also which he has shown.Same day they told me to take enfield service plan of 2999 and took that also.

Mr Swami mentioned they would replace the tank in warranty and sent an email to Chennai regarding that and asked me to wait for 3 weeks for, New Petrol Tank.I did as he said. After 3 weeks, I went to the service station and asked about the replacement of tank.To my surprise the Mr swami said the mail has not gone we can resolve the issue here itself.

To get my confidence, he made me speak to some engineer in Chennai or Bengaluru.

Later, I gave the bike there at Bommsandara service center and during the afternoon they mentioned they had replaced the petrol Tank Cap with another cap.Now problem won't come.He was right there was no problem till few months later I am getting sound from inside tank .Like something broken inside the tank and keep oscillating.

Then again I took the bike and went to the service center. Now Mr Swami has left his job and the new manager is not aware of these problems, so he can't help.

Now I am going to Electronic City Service center of Royal Enfield because I came to know Bommsandara and attibele service center is own by Electronic city Service center.Their I met Mr Babu Reddy( Manager). His single word reply is he can't help because warranty period is over if I have extended warranty during vehicle purchase like for 5 years he can replace the petrol Tank else I need to pay 12000 rupee.

This is a ridiculous reply. I use my bike for long travels and during my second service myself I mentioned the problem and they can't able to find it.Now I riding a bike which can be in fire any time if some petrol leak happen and spark plug is near to that all know.No risking my life with this bike.

TELL ME GUYS WHOM TO BLAME SERVICE ECENTER GUY OR MYSELF. I ALWAYS TRUST WHAT THESE PEOPLE SAY WHILE WE WENT TO SERVICE OUR BIKES.My registered mobile number is[protected]
