RTO India — Non receipt of renewed DL even after more than 2 months since approval

Dear Sir / Madam,

I am holder of DL No. DL[protected] which expired on 5 Sept, 2021. I applied online for renewal of DL and received confirmation of approval of my application No.[protected], on 3 July, 2021 through SMS. Since then the status of my DL is showing as 'under printing' only.

My concern is that since my DL has expired now and there is hardly any hope that my renewed DL will be coming soon, should I continue to use the expired DL or else.

Will be grateful for a response please
