I am filing this complaint against SAI GROUPS OF ORGANIZATION / Sai Education and Job Consultancy, Valasaravakkam, Chennai, regarding the non-refund of Rs.1, 00, 000, which has remained unpaid since November 2024 despite repeated follow-ups, written refund assurances and the company’s own refund policy.
On 21 October 2024, I paid Rs.1, 00, 000 to SAI GROUPS OF ORGANIZATION towards job consultancy/placement services. The company issued Bill No. 3396 dated 21 October 2024 acknowledging receipt of Rs.1, 00, 000. The payment was also completed through UPI on the same date.
I signed a consultancy agreement with SAI GROUPS OF ORGANIZATION. The agreement contains a specific Refund Policy stating that the candidate is eligible for a refund of the processing fee where the agreed job placement/service has not been provided. The agreement specifically provides for refund of the Rs.1, 00, 000 processing fee.
After I requested cancellation and refund, the company representative Amutha confirmed that the refund process was being initiated. I was subsequently directed to Fathima, who handled the refund process.
Since then, I have repeatedly followed up through WhatsApp, calls, emails and other communications. Despite this, the refund has not been made.
Fathima repeatedly provided specific assurances and deadlines for completing the refund. These included commitments in October 2025, November 2025, December 2025, January 2026, March 2026, April 2026 and June 2026. The promised payments were not completed.
I have therefore been deprived of my Rs.1, 00, 000 for nearly two years, despite the company’s written refund policy and repeated written commitments to make the refund.
I request appropriate intervention and relief, including:
1. Immediate refund of the full Rs.1, 00, 000.
2. Appropriate compensation/relief for the prolonged delay, inconvenience and repeated follow-ups, as permissible under applicable consumer law.
3. Appropriate consideration of the company’s written refund policy, payment receipt, consultancy agreement and repeated refund commitments.
4. Appropriate action under applicable consumer protection provisions if the company fails to resolve the matter.
I am attaching the following supporting documents:
1. Bill No. 3396 dated 21 October 2024
Would also share Rs.1, 00, 000 UPI payment proof dated 21 October 2024, their aggreement and also chat details if required.
I request that the complaint be taken up and the company be directed to refund my Rs.1, 00, 000 without any further delay.
