I, the complainant, submit this complaint against the opposite party for cheating me by falsely promising a Software Engineer job in IBM and collecting ₹51, 000 from me on that basis. Their conduct was dishonest from the beginning and was intended to induce me to pay money under false representations.
On 05/12/2025, the opposite party contacted me and informed me that I was eligible for registration. At that time, they stated that there would be two interviews, and that the job would be provided within 2 months, otherwise they would refund ₹1, 000. Later, on 22/12/2025, they again contacted me and told me that my profile had been shortlisted in IBM. They then demanded ₹1, 50, 000 in advance, with the balance amount to be paid later at joining, either directly to HR or in monthly/single payments.
Based on these representations, I paid ₹50, 000 as the initial amount. They promised that I would get the job within 3 months. Near the end of the tenure, they called me 5 days before expiry and said it would take more time, asking me to extend the tenure until June. I clearly told them that I was not interested in extending the tenure and asked for a refund. As per their agreement, they had stated that if the tenure ended, refund must be applied within 15 days. I immediately applied for refund on 22/03/2026, but till date no refund has been made and there has been no proper response from their side, even though I have been calling them daily.
This is not a simple service delay. It is a clear case of cheating, false inducement, and fraudulent job promise. They collected money by making false promises of an IBM job, failed to provide the promised opportunity, and then ignored my refund request in violation of their own agreement.
I have strong evidence to support my case, including:
Email communications.
Call recordings.
Payment transaction records.
Agreement copy.
