Sai Education and Job Consultancy — Non-Refund of Consultancy Fee of 1,000 Despite Failure to Provide Promised Interview Allotments

I am filing this grievance against M/s. Sai Education and Job Consultancy regarding the non-refund of ₹1, 000 paid towards their consultancy service.

I entered into a Consultancy Agreement with the organisation on 07/08/2026 and paid a consultancy processing fee of ₹1, 000/-.
As per the agreement, the consultancy was required to provide 2 interview allotments within a period of 6 weeks from the date of the agreement. However, the promised interview allotments were not provided within the agreed period.

The consultancy subsequently agreed to refund the ₹1, 000/- consultancy processing fee. However, despite the agreement to refund the amount, the refund has not been credited to me as of 29/09/2026.

Recently, the organisation sent me a document titled “REFUND RECEIPT ACKNOWLEDGEMENT” and asked me to sign and return it stating that the refund would be processed after receiving the signed document.

However, the document contains a statement that I have already received the ₹1, 000/- refund, whereas I have not received the amount. I therefore requested that the wording be corrected or that the refund be processed first. The organisation has informed me that they will not permit any changes to the document.

I am therefore seeking assistance from the National Consumer Helpline to resolve this matter.

Relief requested:
1. Kindly intervene and assist me in obtaining the agreed ₹1, 000/- refund.
2. Kindly request the organisation to process the refund without requiring me to sign a document falsely acknowledging receipt of an amount that has not been credited to me.
3. Kindly take appropriate action/forward the grievance to the concerned organisation for resolution.
I am attaching the available supporting documents, including the consultancy agreement, payment proof, communication regarding the refund, and the refund acknowledgement document provided by the organisation.
