Saini Hyundai — Refund of Excess Payment towards Car Insurance, Car Registration and Road Tax Charges (for 15 years) | |||
I, Col Manobendra Roy had booked Grand i10 Nios from EM Bypass Showroom. Booking Amount was paid on 07 Aug 2021. Balance amount was fully paid on 09 Aug 2021. Now my contentions as under : 1. Car Insurance payment taken from me is Rs 33658/-. However the car insurance actually paid by Saini Hyundai is Rs 29221/- on 26 Aug 2021. Thus an excess amount Rs 4437/- paid is due as REFUND to me. 2. For Car Registration and car Road Tax for 15 years, Rs 61270/- has been paid by me. However Saini Hyundai has paid Rs 60730/- to ARTO, Bhidannagar for the same. Thus here too excess amount paid Rs 540/- is due as REFUND to me. You are therefore requested to RFUND Rs 4437 + 540 = Rs 4937/- to me. A cancelled cheque of my bankers has already been received your Sales Executive Mr Gursahib Singh from me on 24 Aug 2021. Finally please don't treat the above as a complaint but only as a plea to ensure excess payment done by me towards Car Insurance, Car Registration and Road Tax by an amount totalling to Rs 4937/- will be duly refunded to me at the earliest! Aug 29, 2021 Updated by Manobendra Roy One cancelled cheque photo on WhatsApp was asked from me on 24 Aug 2021 by the sales rep of Saini Hyundai EM Bypass, Mr Gursahib Singh on tele. I then asked then him why it's required when full payment has already been made by me on 09 Aug 2021. He replied that it's required for refund if any by the Saini Hyundai Head Office, New Alipore, Kolkata. I then sent him the same on same day 24 Aug 2021 within half an hour.I then kept that the above refund possibility in mind for posterity measures. Now when I saw that I have paid in excess for car insurance by Rs4437/- and for Car Registration and Road tax (for 15 years) by Rs540/-, I'm now seeking REFUND for both totalling to Rs 4977/-. Am now earnestly requesting     Aug 29, 2021 Updated by Manobendra Roy On 27 Aug 2021I asked for REFUND to Mr Gursahib Singh Sales Rep Saini Hyundai EM Bypass. He informed me that he'll check with his seniors and revert back on the next day. However on the next day which was yesterday (28 Aug 21) Mr Manos Ghosh Manager of Saini Hyundai EM Bypass told me that no refund will be given to me and that my excess payment will retained as additional profit by Saini Hyundai Head Office at 5 JBS Halden Avenue, Kolkata 700105.This came as a big surprise and shocking at this unethical attitude of Saini Hyundai. Further the following SMS was also received by me yesterday evening from the office of ARTO, Salt Lake Motor Vehicle Dept, copy pasted as under : "WB[protected] Received Rs.60730/- against new registration fee vide receipt no WB7D[protected] dated 28-Aug-2021. Thanks SALTLAKE ARTO. NoRTH." Now my contentions: a) Saini Hyundai is a Agent of Aditya Birla Insurance company and profits to the Agent is guaranteed within the premium paid by clients. b) Any payment by client which is in excess to that charged by Motor Vehicle Dept of West Bengal must be RFUNDED to the client which is Rs 540/- in my case. Thus Saini Hyundai would be committing misappropriation of funds if they do not REFUND utilised money paid in excess by me which is Rs 4977/- (4437+540=4477). In view of the aforesaid I earnestly request Saini Hyundai to REFUND me at the earliest the utilised amount of Rs 5977/-. Sincerely Col Manobendra Roy   Aug 30, 2021 Updated by Manobendra Roy Attached herewith is the SMS I received from ARTO, Motor Vehicle Dept, Salt Lake on 28 Aug 2021.Money received by ARTO is only Rs 60730/- whereas Saini Hyundai has taken from me Rs 61270/- which is Rs 540/- in excess and should be refunded to me alongwith excess amount taken by them against Car Insurance which is Rs 4437/-. Thus Rs 4977/- (4437+540) is due to me as REFUND from Saini Hyundai Head Office, 5 JBS Halden Avenue, Kolkata 700105.  | |||
