I had booked furniture online from Saraf worth Rs 2 lakhs in the month of Jul 20. The furniture was finally delivered in Oct 20. One chair of the dining table was defective and cube console box was cracked. After a lot of communication via mails and lodging a complaint On the web site of Saraf, a carpenter had come in Nov 20 to repair the dining table chair, however the chair was still shaking and was not in a condition to be used. Since Nov 20, I have been interacting with Saraf via email and on mobile to replace the defective items (dining table chair and the cube console table) however the replacements have not been provided. Everytime I call them, they keep saying that a replacement is being sent, but nothing has happened till date.
I am serving in the Army and am posted in an operational area. Am unable to keep calling them and follow up the complaint. It is resulting in mental harassment for me, because I have purchased the furniture with my hard earned money. There has been no action from Saraf to replace the defective items.
For the mental harassment caused to me because of incompetence of the company, I want that the entire amount or Rs 2 lakhs be reimbursed to me.
