Shaadi Mubarak — alleged fraudulent transaction | |
I registered for shaadi mubarak services, the agent name was akansha singh. I checked their online website and everything looked fine. She sent me lots of proposals, and advised to pay rs. 7550 to proceed. I paid that through world remit. After the payment very few responses came. Then i followed up and she advised someone is going to contact me. I think they were just waiting for me to clear the payment. Now i am not getting any response from them. I now know why i was not able to do it from wu or payumoney. It seems like an organised fraudulent activity. Please let me know the best course of action i can take. I paid ShaadiMubarak.net Rs. 10, 890.90 towards membership on 12/02/2018.
Immediately after receiving the money, the agent disappeared.
I have not received any website ID, personalized services, not even a profile was created after paying for membership since February.
Nobody else contacted me from the agency for over 6 months and they are refusing to refund money and are not answering emails and phone calls.
