I have also experienced same issue with sharp inverter Ac. They provide a pathetic after sales service. You need to call them at least 10-12 times before someone comes from service centre. And then they will give such inflated bills. Highly unsatisfied with this brand.

Pathetic after sales service and the same complaint for my 1.0 ton sharp inverter AC.. It's just been more than a year and tge AC stopped working. Sharp engineer says that the PCB has gone faulty and it will charge me 15k to replace PCB!!! That's terrible.. I am sure either the product quality is very poor or the product has not undergone thorough testing process.. IF PCB is that expensive then Sharp should have put enough controls to protect it.. there is no physical damage, no fluctuation nothing and the PCB has gone faulty which means it's a very poor quality product!!
I have faced a terrible experience with SHARP Split AC (1.5) Model No. AH-XP18PMT. I bought this AC from Paradise Electronics on June 2014 and my AC worked just for one season optimally. Ever since then I have been chasing Sharp to resolve my issue for more than a year now but no solution. I had to find out the contact no.s and the email ID's of their employees t have some one look into the matter. Now after sending several mails I got an engineer today at my location(Janakpuri) and the engineer advised me that the PCB is faulty and it will cost me anywhere around[protected] rupees. This is just scamming people. The guy also told me that the company has winded up and is gone. Indian customers have become as a mere experimental objects for lot of these companies.
I am sure I am not gonna buy Sharp Product again and will refrain all my family members and friends from doing the same. I shall ensure you guys earn a very bad name. in the industry and will pass this message to all possible social networking sites and also to the consumer forum.

Same problem with my A.C.the technician suggested to change my A.C. since the price of PCB is 15000/-.
I have faced the same problem with my AC which is not even two years old . The technician came after many calls and quoted a price of 15000/- for changing the PCB and fixing the AC. Really sad you buy such an expensive AC and then its not even covered under warranty with all the electronics fitted in the AC. Whats the use of buying an AC that will stop working in less then two years.
Same issue, last week 1 engineer told me that for replacing PCB will cost 10, 000/- rupees

Same issue for me too and they want 15000 rs..I think sharp is the worst product

i bought this AC just 2 years back ( 50k bucks). i roughly used for 6 months only.
technician came after 2 months after complaint.
first technician asked 1000/- for visiting.
second tech, said DC motor problem. it costs 4800/- he said. i checked with regional manager belongs to Vijayawada. he also said same price with no warranty.
as i am staying in Hyderabad i tried to speak with regional manager here he said 1800/- without warranty. and i bought it at hyd loc.. but this motor was used one.
third technician came to fix the motor, he said that PCB problem not the motor. then i again came back to hyd, with motors and PCB. here after two days they said PCB has to replace and it costs around 18000/-. i do not understand whether these guys are human beings/customer care team or terrorists to us. i am still bothering about this issue, problem came in March 2018.
