[Resolved]  Shemrock School — Dumped our 2.5 years twins and used derogatory remarks

When it comes to selecting a good school for our young ones, we look forward to a school where they can feel homely, secure and learn new things. We got our kids admission to Shemrock Genius, the playgroup school near Dhanori Jakat naka in the month of June 2015. But, soon we realised that it was a wrong decision that we had made when the Administrator of the school Mr. Kaushik said that he had decided to discontinue the curriculum of our kids from his school because that we complained to him about some hygiene related issues two times in the past. When I asked him to give the same to me in writing, he declined. He further continued and remarked that our kids are abnormal kids and that they should be sent to hospital. We lodged a police complaint against him as how could he use such derogatory remarks against our kids and also filed a petition to the Education Board. We approached their head office and to our surprise even the head office people turned a deaf ear to our issue. The head office did not make any contact with us. We did find the curriculum of the school to be good but the non-resposive behaviour of the Corporate authorities of the school certainly raises doubts about the principle and the ethics followed by this school. Shemrock neither refunded our fees of Rs. 30000 (my kids continued there only for 2 months) nor were apologetic about what they did. Friends, before you make the final choice of the school for your loved one don't get carried away by the big talks these schools make. They hardly walk the talk. Find out how long the teachers are associated with that school? how frequently the teachers change in that school? Is the administrator compassionate about children? What kind of feedback about your kid the school is going to provide you and find out if that remains documented or not? Since, the play group schools don't fall under any of the regulator they are at a free will to do as per their whims and fancies. Please make a practical evaluation of the school and never go by the show offs these schools put up.
