Initially, i got a call from shine.com regarding profile highlighter package. They asked me to pay rs. 2359. They told that the profile will be highlighted and you will get lot of interview calls. I told them i am not interested. They can keep an calling me. I asked them what is the total amount for this service. They told that the amount is only rs. 2359 (Payment reference id[protected]. The next day i got a call from another person named saroop. He told me that i have to pay another rs. 24, 936 for verification purpose. I asked them what is the purpose and initially they told no extra amount for this service. He told me that he cannot active this service unless i pay the amount. I asked him to give me time for 2 days to check on this service. He told me that this is month end and i need to pay with in today to activate this service. I paid the amount rs. 24, 936 (Payment reference id[protected]. He rushed me to make the payment. I thought that the procedure is completed. Again, i got a call from him asking to pay another rs. 44, 258 for education verification and he added me some courses without my acknowledgement. He told me that i will get interview calls only when my education details are verified. I told told him that i cannot afford this package due to high cost and questioned him why he had added courses without my acknowledgement. He told me that i will get interview calls only these courses are done. I asked him many times to confirm whether this is the final payment and there will not be any additional payment. He confirmed me that this will be my final payment. I paid rs. 44, 258 (Payment reference id[protected]. Again, i got a call from him asking him to pay another rs. 46, 442 to continue this service. I was completely shocked and broken. I questioned him why didn't mention this earlier and why you confirmed me that final payment is done. For that, he didn't have any answer. I told him that i am willing to continue this service and please help to refund my amount. He told me that they cannot refund the amount and i need to pay this rs. 46, 442 to continue the service. I was in a do or die situation. This is like placing a pistol in our head and bribing money. He then connected the call to his manager malviya. He also told the same that refund is not possible and i should pay rs. 46, 442 to continue this service. I told him that if they had initially told me that service would cost rs.1, 17, 995 i would have not opted this service. Both of them gave false commitment that service is for life time and i can use it through. I was in a do or die situation as i had already paid rs. 71, 553. Unwillingly, i had paid another rs. 46, 442 (Payment reference id[protected]. They promised me the service for life time. Totally i have paid rs. 1, 17, 995. After that i got a welcome call, they just explained me the list of services added to me. They never mentioned anything about the service duration. After the welcome call, i got a mail that the service duration is only for 6 months. I was completely broken again. The very next day i called them and asked for the explanation. No one explained on this issue. I have asked for refund due to the lack of clarity, transparency and false promises given.
