Hi Team I hope all is well with you during this pandemic period. I am writing this note to you with disappointment and hurt that I am undergoing now while interacting with entire team. I am completely dejected and depressed Point 1 A week back or so I got a call from one of your executives asking about my account on shine.com and recomending a paid subscription. The executive managed me into taking up the paid subscription by promising a lot of things and services especially pointing out my seniority in the profession and field and emphasizing again that hard for senior persons to get a new job now. It sounded genuine and also price quoted was discounted one for Rs3192 for ALL the services like Resume Booster, Highlighter, Connecting with consultants/recruiters/ arranging calls etc etc. He told that relationship manager will connect with me who will help me in finding better opportunities within 10-15 days Point 2 A relationship manager called next day and after some introductory questions started explaining the service and told it as a product which is payable. I immediately refused that I will not be paying as this was not discussed with the executive and no information was provided earlier. I also asked for a refund.He insisted no refund possible and this will cost only Rs5192, telling me that without entire package will not be served. I was clueless as I did not want the earlier paid Rs3192 not getting wasted. I told very clearly will not paying any more other than this Rs5192. He simply made me to pay and once I paid the amount and thought probably now I wil be able to get some benefits, he asked for another payment of Rs7197/- telling me that I have to pay this also else everything done till now will not yield desired results. I thought may be this is the end hence I paid however to my surprise he sent another profarma invoice of Rs12506/- pressurizing to pay and how it is going to rosy after that. I again argued and wanted to discuss with his superior. Call transfer happened to another person and he too insisted repeated the same words stating that I will never regret these payments as I am to reap the benefits soon. At this point in time I asked that I hope this is the last payment to which he responded positively and I made the payment as I wanted to get over with it. My patience gave up when he again asked for a payment of Rs19129/- and again I was mentally extored and pushed to corners. I said I did not money and he still insisted me to pay via credit cards or installments else I will not be getting complete service and full benefits cannot be seen. Finally I paid Rs14999/- agreed both sides along with discount Point 3 I was literally feeling at a gunpoint, I was totally helpless. Most of the services for which I have paid are not useful to me as I they get mentioned as Education Verification, Background verification, some tests etc. which are of no use to me. In total I paid Rs43186/- expecting the service intially for Rs3192/- Despite paying this most of the services are not started and the response from the customer support teams is hapless and ineffective. Still one of the services show Unpaid. All that I need is to stop the services initiated even though it is displayed as initiated nothing has happened so far and kindly provide me the refund as I am totally not convinced with the quality of service and lost the trust completely. Please note I had lost the trust at the same moment when I was asked to pay Rs5192 itself. I write to leadership management in utmost faith hoping that you will help me out here with the refunds as I no more have confidence on SHINE and I have not availed a single paid service hence it should not be difficult. Rs43186 is a bigger amount for me considering the EMI and medical expenses that I incur and I cannot afford for sure. Lot of emails coming from Shine.com, [protected]@shine.com on the payment confirmation but nothing is conclusive. They try to revert the email they sent and make me wait for a confirmation to check the status. Totally not trustworthy Please help me in this regard. Was this information helpful? | |||
