On October 3rd, 2023, I received a call from Ms. Deepika, who introduced me to Shine.com's services for job seekers in the private sector. She mentioned that by registering on your platform, I would be assigned a professional guide to assist me in my job search. Following her guidance, I promptly registered and paid an initial amount of Rs 3657 online on the same day.
Subsequently, I was contacted by Mr. Nitin, who informed me that he had been assigned to guide me. We scheduled a discussion on October 4th, 2023, between 2 pm and 4 pm to discuss my profile. However, my experience took a negative turn from this point onward.
During our conversation on October 4th, Mr. Nitin explained the services and mentioned that there were four modules to be worked on, with the promise that my resume would be tailored to meet the private sector's requirements. I inquired about the charges for these services and received an invoice of Rs 8259 via email. When I asked for clarification regarding the total cost, Mr. Nitin assured me that this amount was the final payment, emphasizing that Shine.com was committed to my career development.
To my dismay, I subsequently received a second invoice for Rs 15338 and a third invoice for Rs 28318. Despite my repeated inquiries about the total amount due for the services, Mr. Nitin continued to assure me that these were the final payments. However, he later demanded a fourth payment of Rs 23000.
I refused to make this additional payment, expressing my frustration with the lack of transparency in your billing process and the inconsistencies in Mr. Nitin's communication. It was clear that this was not the professional and honest service I had initially been promised.
I kindly request that you investigate this matter promptly and resolve it by refunding the total amount of Rs 51915 that I have paid through the three invoices. I believe this is a fair resolution to the issue at hand.
Transparency and honesty are vital in any service-oriented industry. I strongly urge Shine.com to adhere to ethical business practices and ensure that customers are provided with clear information regarding the total cost of services.
