Shine.com — Unethical behavior to coerce people into buying courses that are not required | |
Hello Sir/Mam, Similar to this complaint: https://www.consumercomplaints.in/shine-com-return-back-money-c3497915 Here are the payments I made: 1st Payment : 5840/- 2nd Payment: 13592/- 3rd Payment: 23680/- When demanded for additional payment of 42479.00/- over the same call, I refused and the executive had the audacity to talk to me rudely after I asked why he couldn't tell me the cost of the whole package at the first place and while demanding 3rd payment kept repeating this is last payment. It turns out these are just services on learning.shine.com by third party providers and these people are using unethical methods to make you buy these services while getting personal details from you. When asked for refund they said the payment until now cannot be refunded and you have to buy the remaining services so they can provide the services they promised at the start. I demand a refund of the 2nd and 3rd payments as they were taken fraudulently. I don't require resume verification services but was coerced into buying that in the garb of the package (which apparently I wasn't apprised of the total cost despite repeatedly asking. Now seeing similar experiences with other customers, the HT brand image no longer holds the same value as it did earlier. Was this information helpful? | |
