[Resolved]  Shine.com — Unethical means of making money under paid job search services

On 22 Aug I got a call from the Shine team I took a service of resume booster for 3657 INR and confirmed if this final payment for the services.

Today on 23 Aug, I got another call from another executive offering list of services (Career Assessment Test with Expert Counselling, Professional Summary, Featured Profile, Job and Interview Assistance, Job and Interview Guidance Training, and international Profile Update) and asking me to pay 8259 INR, 15338 INR and then 30285INR.
Initially, I confirmed 8259 is fees for all the services, I got a yes but the invoice came with only one product. I was asked to make the following payment of 15338 confirming it is the last payment, I made the payment but see only partial services listed in the invoice. And again I am asked to make a payment of another 30285 INR which I have not paid yet.
I have been deceived with incomplete information for making these payments. I have not confirmed to initiate these services.
I want to request the refund of (INR 8259 and INR 15338).

After this complaint, I requested the Shine agent to share with me the services covered and committed under each of these header over email. He denied stating that is not our company policy and he can only share it over telephonic conversation.

Agent name - Nithin (+[protected] / +[protected]

Apart from invoice, they have not share the service details yet and are not sharing clarity to the same.

I want to understand what are trying to discuss on call which you cannot do over email. At the last call, your executive was telling me he wanted to understand my emotion, but I did not get by what he meant.

Everything I have to say is here and on the emails from my side, but I do not see the same from you.

Also, I do want to have any informal communication on this subject. I would like you to put the agenda and details we are going to discuss in your reply here. Only then I will agree on a call that too on a recorded line only.

Until then please stop spamming me with calls.

Kindly stop spamming with welcome calls. I do not agree to the services for which I have been made paid for with incomplete information.

If want to resolve it - I would like you to put the agenda and details we are going to discuss on call in your reply to your email or here. Only then I will agree on a call that too on a recorded line only. I do want to have any informal communication on this subject.

Just received a call from Shine Services (+91 [protected]).
I was asked to fill out a form on the complaint page for the Shine website for cancelling the services and refund. When I requested the process over email, the call got disconnected.

If it was a genuine call, share the process over the email.
