Warning to all sellers on shop-clues: never ever sell or buy products through shopclues. they are cheats/thughs and have a mindset of ripping off merchants.
Shopclues payment cycle for merchants is very poor/slow. they collect money from buyers full in advance before despatch of goods and pay money to merchants 30 days later. and when there is payment / billing dispute, the cc department will come up with excuse that "it was system error. if approved then you will get the short payment after another 20 days".
Due to shopclues internal system error, merchants will have to bear all the loss. this is the mindset of shopclues.
Tactics of shopclues is to lure merchants on to their site and sell goods through them. when time for payment comes, they literally rip off the merchants and pay a measly amount of money. read my following pathetic experience i had in the last week of june 2016, with shopclues.
On 02 june 2016 i had despatched through shopclues one item package weighing 0.400 grams only.including shipping costs & selling price, shopclues had collected on pre-paid basis from the buyer rs. 540.
As per shopclues calculation, after deduction of their wholesale selling fee and courier costs i was supposed to receive rs. 458.
On 28 june 2016, they generated a net payout report of only rs. 107. despite my repeated requests and point-outs of the mistake by the accounts section of shopclues and my instructions not to transfer the wrong amount to my bank account, they still credited rs. 107 on 29 june 2016.
The customer care / accounts & billing department of shopclues is totally illiterate and ruthless and without verification from their logistics partner, they just transfer payments to merchants a measly amount of money and rip-off the merchants.
Pass the word around to all sellers - never ever sell your product through shopclues. sooner or later, they will find a way out to rip you off.
