[Resolved]  Simplilearn — 6 months job guarantee program fraud

I am Chelimilla Ravi Kumar Hyderabad, and I were seeking a job when I came across an advertisement for Simplilearn on various social media platforms. The advertisement claimed to offer a 100% job guarantee program with the cost of RS. 198000/- within 6 months with seven certifications. If not the total amoun t will be refund. Intrigued by the program, I booked an appointment to learn more.
After speaking with one of the agents, I were convinced to join the 6 months Data Science Job Guarantee program, as they emphasized the potential of data science as a future career with a salary of minimum 5 LPA (Lakh Per Annum). Despite expressing concerns about not understanding coding, the agent assured me that they would teach me from scratch.
Due to my family's financial situation, I were unable to make the full payment of INR 198, 000 for the program upfront. Simplilearn then suggested paying through their own EMI options, offering me to two choices: a lump sum payment or EMI payment facilitated by Simplilearn. After discussing with my parents, my parents agreed to pay EMI only for 6 months and the remaining balance using my job placement after completing the program.However, it appears that I later discovered that the EMI option was provided by a third-party bank named Propelld rather than Simplilearn themselves.
Once I enrolled in the course (Data science Job guarantee cohort 3), I found that the lectures and content explanation were satisfactory but felt that the teaching of code and concepts could have been better. The instructors advised not to focus on learning code extensively and instead prioritize understanding the concepts and completing projects to unlock certificates.
After four months of program, I encountered a problem when Simplilearn added an additional certification called "Job Readiness" without notifying me via email or any other communication. This certification included two projects, and a simulation test conducted on a platform called Webcap. Struggling with the interface and having only three attempts, I raised a ticket seeking assistance. However, the support team was unhelpful, not providing any demo videos or test manuals, and simply urging me to attempt the test without clarifying my concerns about limited attempts.
Due to their delayed responses and lack of support, I spent two months trying to complete the test. However, as the six-month duration of the job guarantee program ended, I had only two attempts left, I frequently contacted for demo videos and manuals. At that time the supporting staff of simplilearn suggested me to not bother about the attempts and just to take the exam, eventually failed the exam and left with last attempt. Distressed and confused, I contacted Simplilearn again, I questioning what will happen If I didn’t complete the test, then they have told me that if you didn’t pass the test you will not get the job. The above conditions are not mentioned while joining the program. I continuously try to contact with the agent. However, neither the agent nor the manager could provide any satisfactory response or solution.
The litigations I encountered not only resulted in the loss of crucial time in my career but also left me feeling immensely stressed and confused. Meanwhile, while exploring job assistance opportunities on other websites, agents from different universities informed me that the projects I had completed hold no value for my certificates due to their outdated nature. This revelation has added to my stress and further contributed to my feelings of depression.
Despite my earnest request for a refund from Simplilearn, following the unsettling series of events I experienced, I have been met with a lack of responsiveness. Their customer care representatives have been unhelpful, repeatedly stating that they are currently reviewing the refund procedures without providing any concrete assistance or resolution. This continued lack of response further compounds my disappointment and frustration with Simplilearn's handling of the situation.
I deeply regret the distressing experience I've had with Simplilearn. Despite my continuous attempts to reach out to their customer support, including raising a ticket, I have not received a satisfactory response even after 15 days. To my surprise, they unlocked my certificate, contrary to their own policies which require it to be unlocked only upon successfully passing the exam. This action raises concerns about their integrity and suggests a fraudulent mentality. Moreover, the unlocked certificate holds little value since it was done so after the expiration of the three-month period, rendering it essentially useless. It is disheartening to witness Simplilearn's failure to provide quality education and their apparent disregard for the value of their certificates, ultimately leading to a loss of trust and dissatisfaction among students.

Therefore, I kindly urge you to thoroughly investigate this matter and sincerely request your assistance in facilitating the refund process and canceling the EMI arrangement. Your prompt attention and support in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Hi I was waiting for your reply but its been 8 days but no responce from youre side, and I am getting the same reply without any investigation in my matter, who ever is replying he or she just copy pasting the mails, its totally not acceptable. You did wrong thing to me so just close my issue and close my EMI, I am not paying money for free at all. Cancel my program. Thats all I want from you . I hope his time I will get a proper reply from youre side.

@consumercomplaints please help me with this issue simplilearn not even listining the student issues, even though i have submitted proofs of adding the certification at the end of the program, they are not responding. It is clear that simplilearn do not full fill the course quailty and job, so please take action.

I am Chelimilla Ravi kumar from Hyderabad, Joined the job guarantee program named (6 months Data Science Job Guarantee program) at october. While joining the program I was told that within six months of joining the program, I will get a job or I will get a 100% refund. while joining I was informed that I will be having 7 certifications, after completing those certifications, I will get the job. While paying the EMI I was not informed that I am going to get Education Loan from third party named proplled,  I thought I was taking Emi from Simplilearn. This is the first misinformation given to me.

After the completion of 5 certificates you have added the certification named Job readiness without giving any information to us or any emails. At first you mentioned that we will have 7 certifications. I thought this is only for job preparation but not the completion criteria.So I was busy in completing those 7 certifications. After the completion of 7 certifications we had a session about job readiness and even in those sessions we were not informed that we have completed it, though they have told us to try to complete these projects and this will help me for skill improvement. I have completed those two projects and came to the assessment part. I have never taken an assessment of coding so I asked for help from you but you did not support me in the form o[censored]ser manuals, ordemo videos. I have dropped so many mails and calls but i didn't get any proper support from you. Instead of providing support the customer care person forced me to take an assessment. So I was attempting the assessment but due to lack of experience in coding tests I am unable to write it. After failing the assessments I asked the customer care member her name is Pooja. She contacted me and asked me about the issue and I explained the issue even though she also did not provide a solution for me . After I left  with the last two attempts I passed the 4th attempt  but it shows that I have failed. I asked Pooja to connect me to the manager, He told me that I have passed the assessment, but It maybe glitch so take the assessment and submit it as per his instructions . I lost all my 5 attempts and the certification. After that pooja told me if I do not complete the assessment I will not get the job, Until I asked you why no one informed you about this, what do you think about yourself,   then what is the point of taking a job guarantee program?? even your simplilearn team don't know about the adding certification what kind of institute you are running? it's not a joke to take huge amounts of money and not provide good services, this is our life you have ruined my life. 

Simplilearn work is to upgrade a skill and get the job to the people, which you failed to do instead of expecting to pay a huge amount of money, such a worst experience I had with you, Even though explaining about the issue not a single person called me or even no response to my mails . After two months one guy from simplilearn called me and asked me about the issue, despite writing so many emails he didn't even know about my issue, such a lame question. After explaining the issue he asked me to show the proof of adding a certificate, asking proof for adding certificate ? really ?. 

I have requested cancellation  of the program and it's been three months, I don't understand why you are not cancelling the program even though you have done fraud activity with me. Due to this I have gone through the mental agony and sleepless nights you are responsible for  this . Even though I have given consumer complaints, you literally don't care about the issue. I have stopped EMI because I was not getting the responses from you, proplled agents are harassing me to pay EMI, I am not going to pay single rupee, I have warned you that I will file an FIR even though you don't care about it. Now I am definitely going to file an FIR for sure and I will post my issue in MODI grievance  complaint.  

I want you to cancel my program and cancel my EMI, already three months have gone now. I am not gonna wait for long. I want this issue to be sought out as soon as possible.
