The course (TOGAF) when I had registered had options to complete the training online or via classroom. Simplilearn has now changed the rules stating the student is required to attend all virtual classroom classes (100% attendance). I was advised - Partial attendance of the Virtual classroom (as permitted previously when I registered) and Online, self learning option will not suffice any more.
Initial virtual classroom batch was oversized with complaints from multiple students (please note I had not complained then). Simplilearn has also cancelled classes/batches multiple times. I had politely re-registered for a class that suited me. Then, this class was also cancelled. I am Sydney based, no timings convenient to me was provided after this.
As mentioned above, the attendance rules were also changed !!!
So, given the service was not delivered as per the agreed standards, medium and timeline, Simplilearn is liable for a refund and potentially damages in terms of the stress and time wastage caused to the students. I am sure that I am not the only student impacted by this failure on Simplilearn's side.
Had discussed this with their representative. She had promised me that Simplilearn's finance team will contact me to process a refund. When I followed up, she vanished from all communication. After following up after half a dozen times, the new person denied a refund. The customer service team, has been very very difficult to reach and deal with. Was this information helpful? |
