[Resolved]  Snapdeal.com — complaint against the company snapdeal, mr. nitin kumar singh and mr. shivam nayak for fraud.

Respected sir,
I am here to register a complaint against the company snapdeal and it's prize department. On 11th march 2019 i received a letter from snapdeal containing a scratch and win card along with a letter wherein the redemption rules were stated. Plus there was a certificate of achievement written in bold letters congratulating me for winning rs 1, 00, 000 cash prize.
So on the same day itself i made a call to the number given in the letter. Then they asked me to deposit an amount of rs 9, 600/- so i deposited that amount through net banking and then after a while i received a message saying "inr 2, 00, 000.00 deposited to a/c xxxxxxx7922 towards cheque subject to clearing. Kolkata val.[protected]. Transaction is not successful. Inr 11, 00, 000.00 deposited to a/c xxxxxxx7922. Towards cheque subject to clearing. Kolkata val[protected]. Transaction is not successful". Thinking that this was true i deposited the amount of rs 9600 in his account with details "mr. Shivam nayak, sbi a/c no.= [protected], ifsc code= sbin0011556, branch= charthawal, uttar pradesh.

This person from snapdeal mr. Nitin kumar singh asked me to deposit an amount of rs 16, 000/- more in his account so that i can claim my prize. But i refused to do so and instead asked him to return the already paid amount of rs 9, 600/- and told him that i was not interested in any of the prize.
As soon as i said this, mr nitin asked me to wait and now he is telling that he won't return me the money back.

And would request the higher authorities to look into this matter as the company is driving in frauds in the name of promotional messages and letters. Strict action to be taken against the company snapdeal, mr. Nitin kumar singh and mr. Shivam nayak who are trying to loot innocent students by making them fools. All the details of the person from snapdeal are attached below. Request you to take stringent action against them.
